Pernell Walker (Rena "We Are Our Ancestors", Dr. R "Priorities")Pernell Walker is a Bronx born Actress with a M.F.A in acting from Actors Studio Drama School, formerly at The New School. Ms.Walker seamlessly navigates and brings life to roles in Film, television and theater. She can also be seen as Grace Campbell in season two and three of the Showtime drama City On A Hill. Ms. Walker very recently became a member of The Actors Center. Jada Alston Owens (Ebony "We Are Our Ancestors", Makesha "Until The Change Comes", Gabrielle "Always Never Really Here")Jada Alston Owens (she/her) is from New Orleans, Louisiana, and holds an MFA in Acting from UC San Diego and a BFA in Acting from Texas State University. She made her network television debut on Law & Order and appeared as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Jada continues to develop new work and reimagine classics, while also teaching, dancing, and singing. She is committed to using her artistry to build community and spark meaningful conversations. When asked about her love for the craft, Jada often says: “It’s always a good pot of gumbo people will never forget.”
Thomasin Savaiano (Theo "Until The Change Comes", Dora "Through Water Into Blood")Thomasin Savaiano is excited to be part of this piece and the important work of Transformation Theatre. She currently resides in her hometown of Chicago after spending 14 years in residence at the Wayside Theatre in VA and working regionally at Washington Stage Guild, Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, Totem Pole Playhouse and a variety of other Virginia theaters. Since returning to Chicago, she’s worked with The Old Creamery, Mercury Theater Chicago, American Blues, Equity Library Theatre, and International Voices Project. For the last 25 years she has run her young actors’ intensive performance program and enjoys using theatre to impact the growth of future generations. Olivia Hardin (Ellie "Through Water Into Blood", Figment 1 "Maybe Our Baby")Olivia has acted for nearly half her life, originally from "The Mule Town of the World", Columbia, TN. She has degrees in film and theater from the University of TX at Austin and an MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School in NYC in Acting. She has been working consistently in plays and film throughout the US since she graduated college many moons ago. She is a proud member of both SAG/AFTRA and AEA. She pulls her work from her life, from the depth of her soul, the gift she gives every character she plays. Favorite characters include Blanche in Streetcar Named Desire, Inez in No Exit, and many more. Coming up soon, she's looking forward to bringing up her own 'one-woman' special, 15 Feet Down and many future projects to come!
