Grant MacDermottGrant’s plays include Jasper produced by Yonder Window Theatre Company and Grace Street Productions at the Signature Theatre in New York City (TRU New Voices Award Selection 2018, Finalist Harold Clurman Award Finalist 2019); the play about the head transplant (Bay Area Playwrights Festival Semi Finalist 2019, Wordsmyth Festival Semi-Finalist 2019), without you but also with you too as well (Play Penn Semi finalist 2017) An Independent Study on Race and the Brain (O'Neill Playwright's Festival Semi-Finalist 2014, PlayPenn Semi-Finalist 2015), and Like a Queen or Whatever (Harold Clurman Award Official Selection, Risk Theater Modern Tragedy Award Finalist, TRU New Voices Finalist, Lanford Wilson New American Play semi-finalist). He was a resident writer with Yonder Window Theater Company from 2020-2022. He has been a part of Project Y Theater, Interim Writers, and Athena Writer’s Group.

Director/Producer
Carl RandolphCarl Randolph (Director) earned his MA in Producing Film at American University and his MFA in Directing from the Catholic University of America. Carl has worked as director, choreographer, actor, and FX Make Up Artist for 40 years. Recent Directing/Choreography credits include The Anonymous Lover (Opera), Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, Escape to Margaritaville, Puffs, the premiere of All Save One by Greg Jones Ellis, A Chorus Line, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls, Terra Nova and the US premiere of Futureproof by Irish playwright Lynda Radley. He was choreographer and lead dancer for 6 years with Illusionists John Bundy and Morgan in their Halloween special Spooktacular. As the Founding Producing Artistic Director for Transformation Theatre producing new plays that are by, for and about underrepresented voices, he has directed a multitude of new play readings. Dramaturg
Kyle A. SmithKyle A. Smith’s (they, she, he) dramaturgy work includes reading for New York Repertory Theatre, New York University Admissions, Transformation Theatre and freelance work with writers at all stages of their careers. They did dramaturgical work at Tisch’s Department of Dramatic Writing with playwrights Kris Diaz, Eduardo Machado, and Carol Rocamora. As a professor, they have provided notes on writing samples, helping their students transfer into more advanced writing programs. As a playwright, their plays include The Part of Me (Excerpt at Graeae, MadLab Theatre, Princess Grace Finalist, BAPF Semi-Finalist), Paralysis (Reading at Transformation Theatre, DGF Fellowship Finalist), Unstuck in Time (No Frills), Blinded (O'Neill Semi-finalist, Goldberg Prize Finalist), On Love and Robots (Reading at Outtabounds Productions and Transformation Theatre), Fascists and the People Who Kill Them (Sohaya Vision’s RAFTA Runner Up), and Whiteout (Shakespeare’s New Contemporaries Semi-Finalist). Kyle is Agender, Bisexual, Bipolar, and neurodivergent. They teach English at Kean University and English and Theater at Union County College. They live with their spouse, baby, and small Russian Blue cat, Freya, in Brooklyn.
