John GiarratanoJohn is very excited to be back in the directors chair for "Jimmy Dean" His previous directorial credits with the Towne Players include Deathtrap, Bloody Jack ,Trick or Treat , Terror by Gaslight ,Calendar Girls, and most recently The Vultures.
John has been active in WNY community theater for over thirty years working both on stage and as a director for local groups The Springville Players , South Buffalo Communtiy Theater , and Theatrical Expressions of Ellicottville on shows such as Little Shop of Horrors the Musical , Bus Stop , Ravenscroft, The Haunting of Hill House and on stage in Harvey , The Rainmaker, Deathtrap , and Sherlock Holmes.
"Directing is a challenge. You start with some words in a script, add a group of actors , a vision of a set, and hopefully you create an end product that appeals to everyone !"
John would like to thank his family and friends for all their love and support over the years and Jane Cudmore for her talent and insight in co-directing this show with him.
John currently serves as President of The Towne Players Board of Directors
