Sylvia Cast

Jo O'Donnell (Sylvia)
Jo is excited to perform as Sylvia with the Towne Players. Previously she joined this group in Terror by the Gaslight as Opal. She has also appeared at the Ghostlight Theater in Night of The Living Dead [Judy], and As You Like It [Rosalind] with Inclusive Theater. Additionally, she has acted in various independent films in the WNY area. Jo would like to thank everyone involved in this show, it is always a pleasure to work with the Towne Players.
Mark Tramont (Greg)
A native of Buffalo, Mark has been involved in local theater for the past 4 years appearing in Towne Player productions of Death by Design and Trick or Treat. As well as The Odd Couple, Yes Virginia There is a Santa Claus & Welcome to the Ethics Committee He also has several film and television credits including 2022’s 48 Hour Film Projects in Los Angeles and Buffalo where he received a nomination for best acting. Away from theater he is the CFO/VP of St Mary’s High School Lancaster and is truly grateful for the support he has received from his wife Eileen their daughters and sons in law Sarah, Jon, Jessica and Erik and their grandchildren Audriana, Ellery, Olivia and Julien.
Julia Grygier (Kate)
Julia is excited to return to the Towne Player’s stage as Kate in Sylvia. She was previously seen as Alveeta in Radio T.B.S. and will be playing Cassie in Rumors in May. Julia has been active in the Buffalo theater community for the past few years, performing frequently with Green Buffalo Productions. Favorite past shows include Rumors (Cassie), Liquidation (Jazz), The Importance of Filing (Two), and Spring Awakening (Ilse). Julia also frequently works as a voice actor and can be heard as the voice of April in the upcoming radio drama Rewound.
Sarah Waechter (Phyllis)
Sarah is making her first appearance with the Towne Players of Ken-Ton. She is also a company actor with First Look Buffalo. Her favorite roles include Sylvia in Sylvia, Dorothy in Stepping Out, Ruth in Graceland, Eve in the Diaries of Adam and Eve and Mae Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie. You can also find her in various local television commercials, several independent films and as background in Hollywood movie
Don Leslie (Tom/Leslie)
Don is grateful to be a part of the talented cast and crew of Sylvia. He is also excited for his first opportunity to play two parts in one show! Earlier this season, he appeared as Harrison in Terror by Gaslight. Previously, he has been in Bell, Book and Candle (Nicky) and A Christmas Carol (Businessman). When he is not in the theater, Don heads the IT department at OLV Human Services in Lackawanna. He also enjoys sailing, hiking, and playing piano. He is thankful for his family's support of his theatrical pursuits.
