ONE: Student Directed 1-Act Play Festival Cast

As a senior here at THS, Sofia is very excited to be in BRIAN THE COMET. Past credits include THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL, THE LAB, and RESURRECTING ANTIGONE. She is also a member of THS Jazz Band and Concert Band. Sofia wants to be a photographer in the future and her favorite scent is jasmine.

Hazeez in a fourth year theater student, ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE is his directing debut. Past credits include THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (Perch Perkins), ECHOES, "DENTITY CRISIS (Psychologist), and A BETRAYAL OF A BROTHER which was a part of THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS. He has also worked backstage on several productions including LOST GIRL, MEAN GIRLS, and THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ.

Robin is in her third year as a THS Theater student and is excited to be a part of the 1-Act Festival. Previous performances include THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL, RESURRECTING ANTIGONE (Kreon 1), THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, and THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ (Skylar), and can be seen in the upcoming production of RESURRECTING ANTIGONE. She worked backstage in LOST GIRL and MEAN GIRLS during her freshman year, and likes to spend her free time drawing.

Dani is a Junior at Torrance High School. They are ecstatic to make their fifth acting appearance in BRIAN THE COMET. They were seen on stage in THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (Plankton), THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS 2023 and served as stage manager for THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ and RESURRECTING ANTIGONE. Dani previously worked as prop master during MEAN GIRLS, and in tech for LOST GIRL. They are also interested in other forms of artistic expression, such as dance and illustration.

Ki is happy to be apart of this year's production of BRIAN THE COMET. This is his senior year in theater has been in over 11 productions at Torrance High. Some other shows include THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (Squidward), MEAN GIRLS THE MUSICAL (Damien) and, LOST GIRL (Curly). This is his first show, writing, directing, and acting at the same time. He wants to thank everyone for coming to the show and hopes ya'll enjoy. Just remember, you can be followed by a hitman at all times and you would never know...

Zakary Kramer has been acting since his Freshman year of high school. He has appeared as ensemble in SHE KILLS MONSTERS, Billy in TRIANGLE, Boy in LOST GIRL, and Devious in the 1 Act play AN EXPERIMENT. He has also directed 2 production, THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ, and SHATTERED, a 5 minute 1-Act play that Kramer had written and co-starred in. He has also written an original 10 minute 1-Act play that he co-starred in called BEASTLY WORLD as Grandpa Brutus. He can be seen in the upcoming production of GEEK!

Maria is very excited to be actomg for this year's 1-Act Festival. She was last seen in THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, and THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ (Molly Denholtz). Other credits include NEWSIES as Crutchie and THE QUESTIONING OF NICK as Nick.

Ari is excited to continue to direct in the 1-Act Festival. She was recently seen in THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (Karen), and The INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ. She is the director of a play from "the Lab" called "The Leap of Faith" and she voiced the Dungeon Master. She is a third year theater student at THS. Ari loves cats; she is most likely to become that typical cat lady in the future. “BAZINGA”

Diego is a senior in Intermediate Theater who is new to the acting scene but a skilled singer. Past credits include THE LAB

Natasha is very excited to take part in POOF!, her fifth Torrance High production. Past credits include THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (Sandy), RESURRECTING ANTIGONE, and THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ (Julia). She can be seen in the upcoming production of GEEK! When she is not onstage, Natasha enjoys singing, reading, and playing basketball. As Shakespeare says, “We know what we are, but know not what we may be.”

Moon is ecstatic to be a part of Torrance High's production of BRIAN THE COMET. Past credits include THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (SpongeBob), GEEK! (Danya), RESURRECTING ANTIGONE (Ismene), THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ (Nina), LOST GIRL (Curly), and MEAN GIRLS. Moon can be seen in the upcoming production of GEEK! in the role of Danya. They have also done productions with Puttin' On Productions including DESCENDANTS and CINDERELLA. Moon also takes singing lessons and Musical Theatre classes at Professional School of the Arts.

Sophia is in her fourth year of theater and is excited to direct in this year's 1-Act Festival. Previous credits include AN EXPERIMENT (Courageous), and SHATTERED, where she played multiple characters indlucing a doctor, therapist, as well as a child. For THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, she directed the original piece, THE BETRAYAL OF A BROTHER, a dark comedic play about two brothers who were once close and have drifted apart, and one of them commits a horrible crime. She also performed in 1-act festival in the play ALL OUT.

Evelyn is a Junior and is in her third year with Torrance High Theater. Previous credits include THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ, and RESSURECTING ANTIGONE. They worked on props and set in the productions LOST GIRL and MEAN GIRLS, and they are excited to expand their horizons and explore different sides of theater. They also served as Stage Manager for our recent production of THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL and the fall production of GEEK!

Jacey is excited that you’re here, especially reading her bio. She has recently appeared in THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (Patrick), GEEK! (Ms. Cosy), LOST GIRL (ABC's), THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ (Paige), as well as Ambassador’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and ANNIE. She also worked on crew for MEAN GIRLS & RESURRECTING ANTIGONE. She’d like to thank her cat and dog for listening her practice her lines, as well as you for coming here. Enjoy the show!

Alia is a junior at THS and is so excited to be a part of the 1-Act Festival. Previous credits include THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (Mayor), GEEK! (Honey), MOLLY DENHOLTZ (Tina) and last year's THE LAB: 24 Hour Plays. She has worked behind the scenes of THS other productions such as LOST GIRL and MEAN GIRLS.

Chloe is sophomore and is very excited to perform in the 1-Act Festival. Previous THS credits include THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (ensemble), GEEK! (Ellen), RESURRECTING ANTIGONE (Young Antigone), THE LAB: 24 HOUR PLAYS, THE INCOMPLETE LIFE & RANDOM DEATH OF MOLLY DENHOLTZ (Erin) and can be seen in the upcoming production of GEEK! When she isn’t on stage, she’s either reading or listening to Lana Del Rey and Taylor Swift.

Kylie is a freshman in Intermediate Theater and is excited to participate in this year's 1-Act Festival. She was last seen on stage in THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (ensemble) as well as THE LAB!

Alton is a Senior. He is excited to play in his first THS Production.
