Roald Dahls Matilda The Musical Cast

Alexa Rey* (Matilda) is a junior here at High School North and thrilled to be having an in person musical again! Not only is she an active member of this theater company and thespian troupe #7455, she also participates in theater outside of school with BCCT. She would like to thank our directors and our cast and crew for making this the best experience. Break legs on that stage, love you all <3.

Caitlyn Kaiser (she/her) is a senior here at High School North and has been in multiple shows here at North.She is so excited to take on this role as Ms. Trunchbull. She would like to thank her mom and dad for always supporting her and her grandma for believing in her. In college Caitlyn will be majoring In musical theater. She is looking forward to an outstanding year.

Rebecca Remelgado* (Mrs. Wormwood + Acrobat Vocals) is a senior who’s been in many shows at TRN for four years, including Pippin (Ensemble), Shrek (Dragon + Blind Mouse), A Killer Party (Justine Case), and more. She is the Thespian president for Troupe #7455, she’s in the Theatre Arts + Dance Academy, NHS and TAKS. She would like to thank all of her family and friends for their continuous support!

John Claude Yambao* (he/him) is a senior here at North. He has participated in musicals such as Pippin (Pippin), Shrek (Donkey), A Killer Party (Shea Crescendo/Jeremy Jordan) and our spring/fall plays. He is the North Nautical Stars’ President and is a part of other clubs such as NHS, ITS, Class of 2022, Mariner Maniacs, Medical Club, and is agented by A3 Artists Agency.

Sophie Regenye* (Miss. Honey) is a Junior, and this is her fourth show with the North Nautical Stars. In the past, she's played Fairy Godmother in Shrek, Jolene and Rachel in 10 Ways to Survive Life in a Quarantine, and ensemble in A Killer Party. Sophie is absolutely thrilled to see what the future holds as she enters the second half of her high school experience with the North Nautical Stars!

Kiley Madigan (Ms. Phelps) is joining the theater company as a junior here at North. This will be Kiley’s first time performing in a musical. She is very excited to be involved in this year’s play. She would like to thank her friends and family. And a special thanks to Kiley’s Dad for always believing in her and pushing her to step outside her comfort zone. “I am not throwing my shot”- Hamilton

Lucas Maciel (Bruce) is a freshman here at North. While at Intermediate East, his most memorable performance was in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown (Schroeder). He is proudly part of the Music Academy, playing saxophone for the Mariner marching, jazz and concert bands. He also sings for the AOK Foundation and his church choir. Lucas thanks his teachers, parents and family for supporting him.

Angelina Amato* (Doctor/Rodolpho/Sergei) is a junior here at TRHSN and she is so excited to be a part of another show with the Nautical Stars. Previous shows she was in with the company include Shrek The Musical (Villager/Duloc Guard) and A Killer Party (Joan McArthur). She is a part of the Vocal Academy of TRN and is in the Master's Choir. She cannot wait for the show and is so proud of everyone!

Madison McPhee (Lavender) is a Freshman at High school North. She has been in, once upon a mattress (ensemble), The Little Mermaid (seagull), The Addams Family (grandma), Anything Goes (Angel), The Lion King (Rafiki), and Into The Woods (Cinderella). Outside of school she is part of the AOK foundation. She is also a Chorus member. A special thanks to her parents for their support and love.

Peyton Williams (The Escapologist/ "Quiet” Ballerina/Dad 1/Big Kid/Assistant Dance Choreographer) is a senior at High school North, and is joining TRN Nautical Stars for another show. Peyton has previously been in Pippin (Building/Painting Crew), The Grinch (Little Who Girl), Shrek (Duloc Dancer, Rat Tapper, and Villager), Quarantine Show (Fitness Chocolate Loving Lady and Squirrel Gossip Lady), A Christmas Carol (Fan and Lead Dancer), Joistar Winter Showcase, Joistar Musical Showcase, and has been in plays at Intermediate East. Outside of Nautical Stars, Peyton is a Cheerleader at North, she’s a part of the Dance Academy, The Acts Of Kindness Society, and SADD. Peyton’s lifelong dream is to become a great dancer and actress. Peyton has been dancing since she was 2 ½ years old and fell in love with acting at age 7 when her class did a little play for thanksgiving. Her dream role would be playing Wendy Darling from “Peter Pan”. Peter Pan is her favorite Disney movie and Wendy is a determined, caring, and smart person that can inspire others. She would like to thank the cast and crew of “Matilda” for making this production wonderful and having so much fun creating it! Julianna Bolish (Acrobat/Ballerina) is a senior and is joining the theatre company. She is a part of the TRN Dance Academy as well as the Theatre Academy. She has been dancing since the age of 5. She dances At East Coast Dance Company and does tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, modern, hip hop, musical theater, acro, and contemporary. Her friends in the art academies inspired her to do the play for her last year here at North and she could not be more excited!

Kayla Fredericks (Children's Entertainer/Scary Big Kid) is a sophomore and is thrilled to be casted in her first production with Nautical Stars. Kayla is dual enrolled in the Dance and Music Academies at TRN. She is involved with TRN Cheer and is an active TEAM member. Break a leg to everyone who made Matilda come together!

Jose Padilla (Michael Wormwood/Eric [Little Kid]) is a freshman at TRN, and is glad to be joining this year’s musical. He previously was in TRIN plays Madagascar (Stage Crew) and Frozen (Duke of Weselton/Storyteller), and is happy to be a part of this musical. He wants to thank his sister Angie Padilla for inspiring him to get into theater and his parents for helping and supporting him on the way.

Saniya Williams (Amanda) is a freshman here at High School North. She has previously been in Hairspray Jr. (Ensemble), Madagascar Jr. (Lioness), and Frozen Kids (Bulda). She is a part of the theatre academy, as well as The Acts of Kindness Society ( TAKS).She is very excited to be a part of this production.

Joelle Mascaro* (Nigel) is a senior at TRN and this is her fourth musical with us. She was in The Grinch (Who Daughter), Pippin (Hair & Makeup Crew), Shrek(Ensemble), and Killer Party(Hair & Makeup Assistant) and has participated in an out of school production of Christmas Carol. She plans to go to college for mathematics or mathematical sciences but plans to continue with her career in theatre.

Vivianna Onofrietti (Mom #1/Henchman/Ensemble) is a junior at High School North, and is joining TRN Nautical Stars for another show. She is also a current member of Thespian Troupe #7455. Outside of Nautical Stars, she is a part of the CHAOS Theatre Company. She recently performed in their rendition of “A Christmas Carol” (Trini, Caroler, Dancer in Hell). She would like to thank her supporters.

Kara Kube (Ensemble) is a freshman and so excited for high school theatre here at TRN. Other shows she has been involved in include, Oliver (Charlie Bates), Cruisical (little girl), My Favorite Year (Leo Silver), and School of Rock (Freddy). I would like to thank my family, cast members, crew members, and the directors. A big thanks to Julia Slevin and Aunt Debbie for inspiring her to do theatre.

Bailey Terrett (Ensemble) is joining the theatre company as a freshman, and is also an aspiring Thespian. Bailey has previously been in Once on this Island (Tech crew), Broadway lights (Ensemble), and Frozen jr. (Oaken). Outside of the Theatre company, Bailey is involved in FBLA and PAWS. “ We must all do Theatre to find out who we are, and to discover who we could become” -Augusto Boal

Isabella Sabo (Ensemble) is a junior at High School North. She has also been in Shrek (Costume Crew). Outside of Nautical Stars, she is a member of the Polaris creative writing club here at North. She would like to thank Michael Indovina for encouraging her to participate in the school’s musical and her family for always supporting her. “I am not throwing away my shot!” - Lin-Manuel Miranda

Riley Standard (Big Kid Ensemble) is a junior and this is her first North musical. Riley is part of the TRN Music Academy and Concert Choir. She has been singing, playing the piano, and guitar going on 8 years. Riley is planning after graduation she will going to Ocean County College with the NJ STARS scholarship. “Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood.” — Helen Keller

Jenna Shannon (she/her) is a junior at TRN, this being her third year involved with the Nautical Stars. She has been a part of many of our productions, participating in both cast and crew. In Matilda, you can catch her in the little kid ensemble. Jenna also became part of our thespian troupe freshman year and is an active member of the executive board. This show means so much to all of us... BREAK LEGS!

Sarah Nuber (Little Kid Ensemble) is a junior at High School North, and is so excited for her third musical with the theatre company. She has previously performed in A Killer Party (ensemble) and Shrek (Duloc Guard/ Happy People Ensemble), as well as Fall Xtreme Theatre 2019 (Greg and writer). She wishes the best of luck to all cast and crew in this year’s production of Matilda!

Libbie Diamond (Ensemble) is a sophomore here at High School North. She is a member of the Theatre and Fine Arts Academies at North. She enjoys creating art using almost any medium and creative writing. She is also a member of her church's worship team. She is very excited to be involved in Nautical Star Theatre Company's production of Matilda.

Alexa De los Santos (Ensemble) is in this year's theater company production as a freshman at North. She was previously in productions such as Madagascar Jr. (Lioness) and in Frozen Kids (Queen Iduna). Alexa would like to thank Mrs. Hennelly, her original director, for opening her eyes to the wonders of a stage and the true love theater would then hold in her life from then on.
