Nell Gwynn Cast

Amanda Mascitelli (Nell Gwynn)
Amanda Mascitelli is thrilled to be back onstage at The Church with Things Unseen Theater Company! Previously you may have seen her onstage in Tiny Beautiful Things, 'Night Mother, Veronica's Room, or Stage Managing Outside Mullingar Drive with 39 Tigers Productions at McGarvey's Bar. When she isn't involved in a show, Amanda works as a cosmetologist at Vixen Hair Studio, and her favorite hobbies are reading, and collecting art supplies that she never has the time to use! Amanda would like to thank her friends and family for their love, patience, and perpetual support. Photo credit: Glenn Davis
Stephen Guice (King Charles II)
Stephen M Guice is excited to play another King. It's becoming a bit of a thing. Heavily involved with Cresson Lake Playhouse, he will next be directing Almost, Maine, a sweet, sentimental show that will rot your teeth. A proud graduate of NYC's Circle in the Square, he has toured and done regional theatre. Too many credits and too many favorites. Thank you to Things Unseen for the opportunity and gratitude to Greenbean Coffee House for fueling me. Photo credit: Glenn Davis
Michael Manfred (Charles Hart)
Richard Gray (Thomas Killigrew)
Jerry Cox (Edward Kynaston)
Jerry is thrilled to make his stage directorial debut with Things Unseen Theatre and Nell Gwynn. He is often found backstage, having recently stage managed The Addams Family and Miracle on 34th Street for ACT during their last season, and running sound design and a plethora of other roles for The Great Gatsby as well. Jerry cut his teeth directing a streaming version of Ray Bradbury's Kaleidoscope for ACT mid-Pandemic in 2020, and has most recently appeared on stage as John Mackey in Things Unseen's production of Veronica's Room. Jerry would like to thank the cast and the crew for making this process as fun and painless as possible, particularly his partner and stage manager Becky, who he's constantly amazed still puts up with him. Jakob Kibler (John Dryden)
Sam Frederick (Ned Spiggot)
Sam is 17 and in high school. This is his fourth show and he’s very excited to perform more. He likes to draw, crochet, and read Shakespeare. He’s very grateful for this opportunity and hopes to someday be on Broadway. Photo credit: Glenn Davis
Courtney Fowler (Nancy)
Carl Letsche (Earl of Arlington)
Carl's delighted to be back on stage for the first time since most of his cast mates reached adulthood. His last public appearance was as the ghost of a theater critic in the Mishler ghost tours, and his most recent stage appearances were in "A Christmas Caroled" and as a very old man in "The Purple Fan". He's delighted to be able to step into more senior characters without the need of such elaborate makeup and wigs anymore, and... wait, what? Oh, well. Maybe next time. I dedicate my performance to my lovely daughters Emily and Madeleine, and especially my Laura, the queen of hair and makeup. Without her talents we'd all just look like ourselves, and who'd pay to see that? Photo credit: Glenn Davis
Maddie Letsche (Rose Gwynn)
Coryell Barlow (Ma Gwynn/Queen Catherine)
Allyssa Piper (Lady Castlemaine/Louise de Kérouaille)
Allyssa Piper had a busy year in theatre that began last September when she performed in ACT’s production of Deathtrap following a 4yr acting hiatus. Immediately after Deathtrap, she performed in Tiny Beautiful Things here at The Church in the Middle of the Block succeeded by The Great Gatsby on the Mishler stage. Additionally, she has been known to perform as Hermione in a local Harry Potter Murder Mystery dinner show and can be seen next in the Haunted Rails and Tales tour at the Railroader’s Museum this October. She would like to thank her husband and two cats for continuing to love her despite missing all of their night time television watching (ICIHR; IYKYK). Photo credit: Glenn Davis
