The Miss B Show and Dry Clean Only! Cast
Miss B (Herself)Miss B is originally from Heidellottenburg. She doesn’t know when she was born but grew up in a terrible orphanage under Miss Helga’s care (she was very mean). She was raised by a ski instructor who tragically died. Despite her challenging upbringing, she continues to spin positive and find joy in every playful moment. She loves all animals, peopleand candy, except for malt balls but harbors no ill will towards those people who love malt balls. She loves each and every one of you and hopes you will find one playful moment of joy tonight with new friends!
Trisha Fisha (Laurel Collins)Laurie Collins loves theatre and film and does them as often as possible. She likes animals, gardening, wide open spaces, and spicy food. She is learning Japanese and speaks it very poorly. But, you should see her persimmons!
Gena Loe (Herself)Gena Loe is excited to be back with Miss B once again! She previously joined Miss B at the Arts Mission Oak Cliff residency show. Other shows: Dallas Theater Center in A Christmas Carol (Belle, Female U/S) and Clue (Miss Scarlet, Female U/S). Other regional credits include Dallas Children’s Theater (Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus, Beauty And The Beast, Charlotte’s Web, and more) and Uptown Players (Head Over Heels, Kinky Boots, Disaster!). She is freakishly double jointed!
Hollis Beck (Themself)Hollis Beck is a writer, performer, and voice artist who tells stories about people who try very hard. Her most recent credits include the role of Jane in Pocket Sandwich Theatre’s slasher send-up “Camp Death”, Sylphid in the anime “Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four!”, and Kotoha in the anime “Wind Breaker”. Hollis’ favorite game as a kid was to run around with a handheld tape recorder and create sprawling audio narratives. Coincidentally, she was an only child.
Yolonda Williams (Herself)Yolonda Williams has a diverse career in stage, film and television. Upon graduating from the Booker T. Washington High School of Performing & Visual Arts, Yolonda made her professional theatrical stage debut on the Norma Young Arena Stage at Theatre Three. Her most recognizable works are “Robocop,” “Friday Night Lights” and the blues documentary “Can’t You Hear the Wind Howl: The Life and Music of Robert Johnson,” where she served as the film’s producer. Yolonda’s contribution to Newsfix earned CW33 an award with D Magazine as the Best TV News Broadcast of 2017. She is currently the host of Fun on the Run, which airs weekdays at 4 p.m. CT on CW33.
Gerald Taylor (Himself)Gerald Taylor II - Gerald is a local teaching artist, performer, puppeteer, improvisor, and director. Gerald received his M.A. in theatre from East Texas A&M. His performance work has taken him across the nation on two national tours for Dallas Children's Theater. Locally he has performed for DCT, Dallas Theatre Center, Theatre 3, Uptown Players, and Pegasus Theatre. Nam-myoho-renge-kyo!
Jeremy Duchin (Himself)Jeremy Duchin is downright ecstatic to revive his role in Miss B. Previous to show, his only credits are from high school musicals (Fiddler on the Roof, Little Mermaid Jr., Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Little Women, Laramie Project). It was during those formative years where he gained a reputation for ignoring the script and making up his own lines—something we now call "improvising" but his director called "a problem." Today, he mostly focuses his creative time as a musical improvisor on teams including Revolusical, Figaroo II, Spaghetti Confetti, and Rodgers & Hammertime. Beginning under the auspices of Leslie Collins in 2019, he is now a well-regarded teacher of musical improv at Stomping Ground, where he takes great joy in shaping the minds of new improvisers. Jeremy would like to thank his high school director Heather Biddle and his family for supporting his ridiculousness.
Chad Cline (Dry Clean Only)A performer with a quarter-century in comedy, Chad Cline has mastered the art across diverse platforms. Groundlings-trained and mentored by comedy legends, he's shared screen and stage with stars like Mahershala Ali and Jon Lovitz. From national commercials to anime voice acting, Chad's versatility shines through his work with Mama Tried improv, Pegasus Theatre, and in corporate coaching, conflict resolution & team-building.
Jason Folks (Dry Clean Only)Jason appears regularly at The Understudy’s All-Star Improv and Fat Man and Litle Boy. Jason also has years of experience teaching improvisation, performance, and public speaking in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. He can cook minute rice in 58 seconds. He is a private citizen in the public’s service. He has been the ninth caller and can name that tune. Jason once won a Michelin star armed only with frozen waffles and a copy of Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret. He is well-versed in Beatles trivia, he’s an amateur expert witness, and he has the death sentence in over twelve systems. He also discovered time-travel 28 days from now.
Rachel Farmer (Dry Clean Only)Rachel is a seasoned comedian and performer
with a background in improvisation and sketch comedy.
Trained at renowned theaters like Second City, iO,
and the Annoyance Theatre, she has toured nationally
and performed in New York and Chicago. You can see
her performing with Mama Tried and Bonobos around the DFW area.
