The Odd Couple (Female Version) Cast

Olive Madison (Courtney Woolard)
is so happy to be playing this dream role. Thank you to Rebecca for this chance, the cast for the laughs, & Pirate for the cuddles. Courtney was last on stage in Four Old Broads and in the director’s chair for Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express at TKD. Special thanks to Mom & Dad & YOU for supporting the arts in Knoxville! In loving memory of AGJ & RDW.
Florence Unger (Anna Everence)
Intermission is OVER!! After a year + of no live theater, Anna is thrilled to be back! She would like to thank everyone for supporting theater arts not only by being part of the audience, but also for helping theaters like TKD to stay alive over the past 18 months. Anna would also like to thank her family for their constant support and TKD for the opportunity to be in this incredibly talented and fun cast!
Mickey (Joyce Jones)
Although this is Joyce’s 1st time on TKD’s stage, she is no stranger to theater with over 40 years’ experience! And she is no stranger to this role, having played Mickey at The Youngstown Playhouse. Joyce comes from Youngstown, Ohio. She has been involved both on & off stage at TYP (Resident Light Board Op & Box Office Assistant), Hopewell Theater, The Oakland Center for the Arts (Board Member), & Top Hat Productions (Resident Stage Manager). Joyce was also former president of The Youngstown Area Community Theater Alliance (YACTA) and is presently Stage Manager at The Opera Western Reserve. Her most recent off-stage productions were SM for Sister Act, & Little Shop of Horrors at THP, & A Raisin in the Sun at HT. Her recent onstage productions were A Wrinkle in Time (Mrs. Who) & The Crucible (Tituba) at HT. Joyce recently filmed Sins of the City & Fatal Attraction for TvOne. She is hoping this will be the start of more theater/television here.
Renee (Angel Orenstein)
Many moons ago Angel, a native to South Dakota, got her big break on stage as a dancing lobster at age 5. Since then, she’s done her time as a chorus girl and townsperson to later emerge as a leading lady. Most recently Angel embodied Gwen of the Importance of Being Earnest at Seraphim Theater and is excited for her first show in Knoxville. Like her character Renee, Angel is a passionate women’s rights advocate and volunteers whenever she can #ERANow
Sylvie (Liz Burling)
The Odd Couple is Liz Burling’s first play at TKD. Her acting debut was the coveted role of The Groundhog in Mr. Allen’s first-grade musical For All Seasons. She broke into acting/directing at ten, with an avant-garde play of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. After a degree in Photography and years in Production, she is thrilled and terrified to join this incredible cast and crew. When she’s not in the tub, Liz is a drummer, karaoke diva, and cinephile who digs the outdoors and the paranormal.
Vera (Brittany Lightfoot)
is an actress & comedian. This is her first show. She has 2 pieces in production currently. She is excited to be a part of this show & even more excited for future shows with TKD. More importantly, she’s happy to be performing in front of someone other than her cats. They appreciate the food at her “cat dinner theatre”, but they mostly want dinner.
Jesus Costazuela (Greg Knox)
after being emotionally flabbergasted that the role of “Jesus C” had absolutely nothing to do with Jesus Christ, he stopped washing people’s feet in preparation for the show and is figuratively tickled pink to be back on stage at Theatre Knoxville Downtown with this fantastic cast and crew! Greg has also pretended to be other people in Leading Ladies, Cactus Flower, Seasonal Allergies, and more! Welcome and enjoy the show!
Manolo Costazuela (David Snow)
has appeared in several shows at TKD, most recently Murder on the Orient Express. He would like to thank his mom and brother for their never ending support , Rebecca for her dedication to excellence, Kerri for exuberant stage management, and the cast for a joyous rehearsal experience, and to you for seeing the show and finishing this paragraph.
