Charles Granillo (Casey Cain)
Casey is excited to be back at Theater Knoxville after 2 years being away! He hopes everyone sits back, relaxes, and enjoys the show! Most recent credits on stage include “The Sunshine Boys” as Eddie with Flying Anvil Theater and “Death of a Salesman” as Bernard with Theater Knoxville Downtown.
Wyndham Brandon (Caleb Mills)
Caleb is 20 years old. He is originally from Morristown Tn, but recently moved to the Knoxville area. Caleb was offered his first part back in 2017 in Morristown’s Encore Theatrical Company’s production of “The Wizard of Oz” as a munchkin, and supported the backstage ensemble as well. The following year, 2018, he was offered a role in the ensemble of Encore’s production of “ Singin’ in the Rain, Jr.” TKD’s production of “Rope” will be Caleb’s first dramatic, and leading role, and he is very grateful to be apart of this awesome cast, and hopes to be in many more of TKD’s future productions.
Sabot (Phil Brady)
Phil Brady (Sabot) is thrilled to return to TKD’s stage a 2nd time after playing the ghost of John Barrymore in “I Hate Hamlet”. He wants to thank Sarah and this exceptional cast and crew for another opportunity to be someone else
Kenneth Raglan (Tristan Brown)
Tristan is very excited about closing out his TKD season with Rope. Some of the credits he is most proud of are his roles of Jack in Lord of the Flies, John in Dark of the Moon, and Dr. Montague in The Haunting of Hill House. He would like to thank his friends and family for the encouragement and their unwavering support, as well as Sarah for allowing him the opportunity.
Leila Arden (Megan Cochran)
This is Megan’s first experience in the theater and is extremely grateful to director Sarah Campbell for the opportunity. Megan has always had a love for the arts and is excited to begin her theater journey!
Sir Johnstone Kentley (Ed White)
Ed White has been acting off and on since 1978 in community theaters from Memphis to Knoxville, most notably at Theatre Central from the 90’s thru the aughts, with random acting and directing gigs at TKD since. He’d like to thank Sarah for this new opportunity, and thank his spice Ziggy & Duren as well as daughter Vi for making it possible through their love and support.
Mrs. Debenham (Margy Ragsdale)
Margy Ragsdale has been working with TKD in some form since 1976, when she performed in "Story Theatre", the inaugural show for Knoxville Community Theatre, TKD's original iteration. A former member of the TKD board, Margy has worked as actor, director, designer, and playwright for TKD and other local theatres, and she thanks you, the audience, for making it possible.
Rupert Cadell (Kevin Cannon)
Kevin is pleased to be in his fourth TKD production in the new space. He hopes you enjoy the show and his British accent. Sarah told us to watch 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' to prepare, so that may explain a few things.
