Night of the Living Dead Live! Cast

Christopher Weathers (Ben)
has lived in Knoxville for almost 20 years and loves the performing arts scene. This will be his first performance with Theatre Knoxville Downtown. He’s excited to reprise the role of Ben, and excited to be a part of such a culturally significant production. Chris would like to thank his mother Nancy Weathers and his late best friend Brandon Gibson.
Angel Orenstein (Barbara)
Angel grew up out West in South Dakota moving to Knoxville in 2019. She started acting at age 5 growing into larger roles and developing a lifelong passion for acting. Most recently she portrayed Gwen in The Importance of Being Earnest, Rene in The Odd Couple, Dierdre in I Hate Hamlet, Elizabeth in Jekyll & Hyde, and Sally in Puffs!
Matthew Boshears (Tom)
is excited to make his TKD debut with this spooky show! You may have seen him in the past with UT’s All Campus Theatre or cheering on the Vols as a member of the UT Spirit Team. He thanks the entire NOTLDL team & his wonderfully supportive friends & family. He dedicates his performance in memory of his dad, who would have loved the chaos you’re about to watch. John 11:25.
Jaclyn Fischesser (Judy)
Jaclyn Fischesser is excited to occasionally take the stage as Judy! She is thrilled to be returning to the TKD stage following her debut as Louise in “Fox on the Fairway.” Jaclyn would like to thank her parents for instilling in her a love for the arts and supporting her throughout everything, as well as her supportive boyfriend, Nic, for always encouraging and believing in her dreams.
Aaron Hinds (Harry)
After being called a character most of his life, Aaron joined the stage as a teen. Since then, he's been a part of some wonderful theater & film productions, including The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [Abridged]. He is thrilled to work with this amazing cast & crew, & thanks everyone in his life for their support (especially his extremely patient and caring wife).
Sarah Campbell (Helen)
Sarah holds a degree in theatre & anthropology from UTK. She has been in the Knoxville theatre scene for over 20 years, 1st as a company member of Actors Co-op @ the Black Box Theatre, & now as board President here @TKD where she serves as a director, actor, & resident costumer. She was last seen on stage as Annie Wilkes in MISERY. She thanks Shelby & Joe for this opportunity. She thanks the audience for being the reason theatre exists, and Eli for being the reason she exists. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Chip Morris (Chief McClelland)
Chip is thrilled to return to TKD's stage after more than a decade. He was last seen as Mellersh in Enchanted April. Other credits include Assassins (John Hinckley), Foolin Around with Infinity (Mr. Anderson), Man of La Mancha, Sweeney Todd, and A Christmas Carol, all at the Clarence Brown Theater. It's good to be home.
Ty Shrum (Vince)
is excited to be making his debut at TKD. He has starred in many productions including The Walking Dead. He also loves to cosplay as characters at comic cons and charity events as heytylercosplay. Ty wants to thank his family for supporting him and his dad for starting Ty’s love of horror by showing him the original NOTLD at the age of 5.
Piper Morgan (Karen)
Piper Morgan is a family oriented and community driven young lady. She’s involved in Girl Scouts and volunteers her time at school helping others and cleaning playgrounds. She has two sisters, Harmony and Lyrik, and she loves being around them. Piper enjoys walks downtown and a nice decaf coffee
Spencer Flottman (Johnny)
Spencer Flottman is pleased to return to TKD as Johnny. He has performed in various productions such as "It's All in the Timing," "Cyrano," "Elephant's Graveyard," and "Sleepy Hollow" with different theater companies.
Kairi Wallace (Zombie)
Kairi Wallace is an aspiring, young actor who has worked with Knoxville Shakespeare for three seasons now. She's played roles from servants and lords to prisoners and thieves in Shakespeare plays such as "Measure for Measure'' and "As You Like It". Now playing a zombie in Theatre Knoxville Downtown's Night of the Living Dead! When she isn't on stage, she's helping in the costume department of this company and others. She loves every minute of it all!
Sam Goeltz (Zombie)
Sam Goeltz is a lifelong lover of cinema and theater. He has hosted and produced a free thought television show, a political podcast, and now a movie review podcast, Unhinged Movie Misfits, with his partner Kayla. When he’s not with his family or at a movie theater, he’s working on short films and other projects with his film production company The Old City Optical Reliquary.
Brittany Lightfoot (Zombie)
Grr aargh! Brittany Lightfoot made her onstage performance debut as Vera in “The Odd Couple.” Brittany’s most proud of her role as Abbie “the brat” in the Christmas production “One Christmas Eve at Evergreen Mall.” When she is not on stage or behind the scenes, you can find Brittany out front working the box office. She hopes that you enjoy this production of Night of the Living Dead Live and you survive from her carnivorous bite tonight to tell everyone you know to see the show!
