About The Miracle Worker - 2017 Production

Next weekend (July 30 @7pm, July 31 @7pm, and August 1 @ 3pm) we will be presenting the second half of the Lemonade Jamboree live and in-person AT the John W. Smith Auditorium. Tickets will be available at the door and feature festival seating, with the back half of the auditorium reserved for those who prefer social distance seating.

Our first episode of the Lemonade Jamboree contains a historical-fiction account of the day Annie Sullivan and 14-year-old Helen Keller met Mark Twain. The roles will be reprised by Ashley Raymer-Brown and Kennedy Brown respectively.  Please view this on-demand show as a primer for their continuing story.

The Theatre Downstream

The Theatre Downstream is a community theatre located in rural Kentucky. Since 2014, we have produced 19 stage productions, 1 radio drama (It's a Wonderful Life) and 1 film/stage hybrid film production (The Lemonade Jamboree), the last two of which were developed during the mass theatrical shutdowns of 2020. We are looking forward to resuming our in-person stage productions with ELF opening this November 2021.
