About G.L.O.

Ripped from the headlines of American history, this dramatic play with music spans the years from 1923-1938 in Ottawa, Illinois. It centers on a tight-knit group of women dial-painters who discover the company they work for has poisoned them. After the shocking death of two of their best friends, the remaining terminally ill women decide to take on the powerful corporation that has killed them all. Led by Catherine Donohue, they risk their livelihood, the respect of their town, and their lives for the one thing that matters above all else…justice. With the help of their lawyer and a local reporter, they race against the clock to get justice for not only themselves, but the hundreds of other women impacted by corporate greed.

Featuring music and clothing inspired by the 1920’s & 1930’s.
