Logan J. Smith made his debut with The Studio Theater as lead guitarist for the 2016 production of Rock of Ages. Since then he has played guitar or bass for several productions (including Hedwig and the Angry Inch) and worked as a sound engineer for James and the Giant Peach and The Graduate. He has also played bass for productions of Jesus Christ Superstar (UCA), Bare (The Weekend Theater), and The Theory of Relativity (Pulaski Academy). Logan is a multi-instrumentalist, focusing on Guitar, Bass, Trombone, and Electronic Music, and holds Master Instrumental Conducting and Bachelor of Music Education degrees from the University of Central Arkansas. He is also a BMI composer and has had compositions and arrangements performed all over the world, including the International Trombone Festival in Birmingham, England, and the North American Saxophone Alliance in South Carolina. His current full-time job is Professor of Music at the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton and he lives in Conway with his wife Allison and their daughter, Lauren Joy.
