The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Cast

Elana Sobhani is a Musical Theater major at Reinhardt University. She previously worked with the Spotlight Performers in their production of “Carrie” as Norma/Carrie UST and is so excited to be joining them this year as Putnam County’s former spelling champ. She would like to thank her friends, family, and teachers for their support and welcome you all back to the theater!

Will Sippel is a UCF student studying theatre with a focus in acting. Previous credits include Much Ado About Nothing (Dogberry), Urinetown (McQueen) and Sweat (Jason). He would like to thank his partner, Caroline, for taking him along with her on this crazy journey.

Patrick is thrilled to be participating in his first performance with the Spotlight Performers. Some of his credits include Shrek the Musical (Shrek), Into the Woods (Jack), The Secret Garden (Dickon), and Bye Bye Birdie (Harry MacAfee). Patrick is looking forward to future opportunities with the Spotlight Players.

Sean Tormey is currently a senior BFA Musical Theatre Major enrolled at Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia. He would like to thank The Spotlight Performer’s for this opportunity and his family, friends, and everyone else in his life that supports him on his path to being a professional actor.

Collin is incredibly stoked to finally return to the stage and this time with a sock puppet! Previous roles included Melchior (Spring Awakening), Tom Wingfield (The Glass Menagerie), and Hanschen (Wedekind's Spring Awakening). Collin would like to thank the cast, crew, and audience for such an amazing return to theatre. Enjoy the show!

Bella is a Musical Theatre major at Reinhardt University. You may have seen her as “Fantine” in Les Mis back in 2019 at FPC. Bella would like to thank her family for supporting her dreams, and the cast/crew for making this summer unforgettable. She would also like to thank Collin and Ms. Jenn for trusting her with “Marcy”. She’s so glad to be back on stage! Enjoy the show!

This is Abbey's 3rd production with The Spotlight Performers. Some of her past rolls include Little Red/Into The Woods and Frieda/Carrie. She would like to thank her parents and boyfriend (who are all doing tech on the show) for their love and support, and her voice teacher for coaching her to sing with a lisp. She is super excited to bring Logainne to life alongside a lovely cast!

This is Ethan’s second performance with the Spotlight Performers. He has been seen with them in Carrie: The Musical as Freddy and is excited to be playing the role of William Barfee in this show! He would like to thank his parents and friends for supporting him throughout this show and the directors for pushing him to be his best!
