Kinsey Potts (Maria Rainer)
Kinsey Potts is so excited to be back at the Royal Theatre! Previous credits include Vivienne Kensington (Legally Blonde), Sherrie Christian (Rock of Ages) and Cynthia Weil (Beautiful). Kinsey would like to thank the production team for trusting her with this role and her family and friends for their constant love and support.
Jeremy Clay (Captain von Trapp)
Jeremy Clay is happy once again to be onstage at the Royal. As a career educator, he teaches theatre at Bryant, directing a theater company run by his students, and managing the Bryant Fine Arts Center. Most recently onstage in Rumors, he would like to dedicate his performance to his loving family.
Jenna Thaxton  (Liesl von Trapp)
Jenna is thrilled to be back on the Royal Stage where you may have last seen her as “Miss Honey” (Matilda), or “Wendy Jo” (Footloose). She would like to thank friends and family for reliving the angst of her 16 year old self again. She also expresses a big thank you to Matthew for this opportunity. Enjoy the show!
Brayden Armstrong (Friedrich von Trapp)
Brayden is excited to be back on stage at the Royal. In the last year, theatre has become a huge part of his life and he loves being on stage. Brayden also enjoys performing with his high school honors choir, swimming, archery, and of course video games. He would like to thank Matthew for the opportunity and hopes you enjoy the show.
Faith Jeffries ( Louisa von Trapp)
Faith Jeffries is thrilled to return to the stage for her second appearance at the Royal Theater! She was recently seen as Sour Kangaroo in Seussical Jr. at the Royal Theater and in Madeline’s Christmas at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Theater in Little Rock. When she’s not performing, Faith loves to sing, dance, and cook with her family. She is grateful for this opportunity and excited to share the stage with such a talented cast!
Kami Lewis (Briggita von Trapp)
Kami is returning to the Royal for her third performance and is thrilled to be a part of this show! She will be starting 6th grade in the fall and enjoys art and science. Kami wants to thank Matthew for this opportunity. She hopes you “start at the very beginning”…. and enjoy every minute!
Korbin Beard ( Kurt von Trapp)
Korbin is extremely excited and grateful for the chance to be in Sound of Music. He most recently played the role of Horton in Suessical at the Royal and had a blast! Other previous roles include Peter Pan, Jungle Book, and Shrek. He is passionate about singing/songwriting and playing the piano. He sings on the youth praise team at church, and participates in choir at school. He wants you to enjoy the show!
Haddie Hinson (Marta von Trapp)
Haddie is so excited to be returning to the Royal stage as Marta von Trapp. She has also appeared in Marry Poppins Jr (Bert) and most recently in Seussical Jr. (The Cat in the Hat). Haddie is a 6th grader at Benton Middle School and loves to sing and dance. She would like to thank Matthew for this great opportunity
Violet Winters (Gretl von Trapp)
Violet is thrilled to part of this production of The Sound of Music! This is Violet’s third show, and she has loved every moment on stage. She enjoys singing, dancing, and reading in her free time. Violet is grateful to be part of such a wonderful cast and would like to thank Matthew for this opportunity.

Tyranni Hubbard (Elsa Schraeder)
Tyranni is so excited to return to the Royal Theatre stage! Her previous credits include Black Nativity (Miriam), Annie (Grace Farrell), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Esmeralda), and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Shirelle/Little Eva). As a graduate from Ouachita Baptist University, she is degreed with a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre. Tyranni is a passionate actress, singer, director, and writer and she loves contributing her talent to local theatre. In her free time she enjoys volunteering in the children’s ministry at St. Mark Baptist Church, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family. She would like to thank God and her family for their support! Enjoy the show!
Jack Clay (Rolf Gruber)
Jack Clay (Rolf Gruber) is excited to return to the Royal stage. He will be attending the University of Arkansas School of Law this fall. Previous credits at the Royal include Chiron (The Lightning Thief), Cowboy Bob (Footloose), and Will (American Idiot).
Karena Malott ( Mother Abbess)
Karena is delighted to reprise the role of Mother Abbess, previously performed at The Weekend Theater. Recent credits include Mary Sunshine in Chicago (ATLR) and Miss Hannigan in Annie (Studio Theatre). She’s thrilled to return to her theater home at The Royal and grateful for this wildly talented cast and crew
Maggie Garrett (Sister Margareta)
Maggie is as thrilled as a flibbertigibbet to be in The Sound of Music! Previously at the Royal: Music Director (Little Women). Studio Theatre: Grimhilde (Disney’s Descendants), Mrs. Phelps (Matilda), Music Director (Charlie & the Chocolate Factory). Voice Professor at Ouachita Baptist University since 2008. Fave roles: Mark’s wife and David’s mom.
Emma Guill (Sister Bertha)
Emma is so excited to be back at the Royal! She attends Arkansas Tech University and is working on her degree in Theater. Her past credits include; “Golde” in Fiddler on the Roof, “Gary” in Spongebob Squarepants, and tech crew for several other shows. She thanks her friends, family, along with the cast and crew for their support! Enjoy the show!
Rosemary Burns (Sister Sophia)
Rosemary is excited to make her Royal Players debut in one of her favorite musicals of all time. It's been over 20 years since Rosemary has been on stage (Ensemble: My Fair Lady and West Side Story at Pennsylvania Theater for the Performing Arts). She is thrilled to join this theater group. Never give up on your dreams! Special thanks to her husband and daughter for their support.
Ben Wright ( Franz)
Ben is excited to be back again at the Royal Theater. Previous roles include Ernie Cusack in Neil Simon's Rumors, Frank Davenport in Silver Belles, Frank Hamer in Bonnie and Clyde, Sipos in She Love Me, The Old Man in A Christmas Story, the ensemble of Little Women and Titanic, Marley in Christmas Carol and a monk and a knight in Spamalot.
Melissa Hayes  ( Frau Schmidt)
Melissa is excited to be other stage after 30 years and experience the joy of performing again. Melissa would like to thank director Matthew Burns for the opportunity, Kinsey Potts for believing in her, and her son Sam for supporting this adventure. Darren Winkler  (Herr Zeller/Ensemble)
Darren is excited to be back on stage with the Royal Theatre after a nearly 7 year hiatus. You may have seen Darren in previous shows at the Royal including Music Man, Oklahoma, Shrek, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. He is so honored to be included in this work and hope you enjoy this Rodgers and Hammerstein masterpiece.

Ria is excited to be back at the Royal! Recently she was seen as Meagan in Silver Belles, and in Royal Night Live! She's grown up loving the Sound of Music with her mom, she hopes you enjoy the show!
Jordyn Purtle (Nun/Ensemble)
Jordyn is so excited to be in her first show at The Royal! A recently graduated Senior at Bryant High School, Jordyn has been featured on stage both at her high school and in her community. Her most recent roles include Persephone in Hadestown: Teen Edition (BTC), Ensemble in Newsies (Wildwood), and The Monster in A Monster Calls (BTC). Last summer she helped with Spongebob the Musical by Stage Managing, and she’s looking forward to helping out again! She hopes you enjoy the show!
Madeline Welch (Nun/Ensemble)
Maddie is in the 11th grade and loves to sing and perform. She is a member of the 2025 National ACDA Honor Choir, 2025 Arkansas All State Choir, and the Bryant Theatre Company. She was last seen on stage at the Royal as Sister Mary Patrick in Sister Act JR and is excited to play a nun again! Much gratitude to Matthew for casting her!
Isabella Smotherman (Nun/Ensemble)
Isabella is thrilled to be back at the Royal! Her most recent credits include Lily in A Monster Calls(Bryant Theatre Company) and Thalia in The Lightning Thief(The Royal). Other past credits are Alice in Matilda the Musical (Bryant Theatre Company), Sardine #2 in SpongeBob The Musical (The Royal), and Featured Dancer in Hadestown: Teen Edition (Bryant Theatre Company).
