Grease is a rock and roll musical about the romance between a greaser, Danny Zuko, and a sweet new girl, Sandy Dumbrowski, at Rydell High in 1959. The story follows their rekindled relationship amidst cliques and peer pressure, featuring classic songs like "Greased Lightnin'" and "Summer Nights". It is a celebration of youth, friendship, and rebellion, with the stage version being a bit grittier than the film adaptation.

The Rockaway Theatre Company, Inc. is a not-for- profit NYS 501C3 organization located at Fort Tilden in The National Park Service Gateway National Recreation Area. We strive to improve the quality of life for residents of Rockaway and surrounding communities by bringing them live quality entertainment at a nominal cost. Over the course of the last twenty years, we have earned a reputation for presenting the best that any community theater has to offer.
