About Annie Jr.
Annie Jr. is a shortened, kid-friendly stage adaptation of the musical Annie, suitable for middle-school performers. It tells the story of an orphaned girl named Annie in 1930s New York City who is taken in by billionaire Oliver Warbucks and forms a new family with him, his secretary Grace Farrell, and her dog Sandy. While adapting the original musical, this version adjusts songs and length for younger performers and is based on the popular comic strip and original Tony Award-winning musical.
