Tara SteffensTara is a 1999 graduate of SFBRHS and a 2003 graduate of Mizzou. Her dogs names are Kora and Flynn. She has helped with over 160 shows in 5 states. She is also actively involved with the ECC Theater, Co-Owner of Riverside Players, and active on various Civic Boards. She is the owner of Pinkney Bend Distillery. She’d like to thank her partner Eric for his unwavering support of her love of theater and dance. She’d like to add “Thank you Tim for always pushing and trusting me to make great art.”

Asst Director/Projections/Asst. Gremlin
Maya BleyMaya is the daughter of Rachel and Greg Bley. She played Sandra/Miss Collymore in The Play That Goes Wrong, Wednesday in The Addams Family, Crush in Finding Nemo Jr, Snoopy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and she has been involved in 26 other productions both onstage and on the crew at Borgia and with The Riverside Players. She was the president of BOSS and a member of the Borgia Organization of Women. She likes to read, hike, kayak, sing, and watch movies. She also sits on her couch a lot! She thanks Mr. Buchheit, Ms. Brasher, Ethan Wood, and Mrs. Riegal for the endless work they have done for her and for the theatre. She would also like to thank her amazing family and friends who have supported her and helped her and everyone in the cast and crew and her spotify playlists.

Stage Manager/The Glue
Shania WilsonThis is Shania Wilson’s second show with The Riverside Players and she is very excited to return as a Stage Manager for this amazing cast and crew. To name a few she has previously Stage Managed for Puffs, SpongeBob the Musical, Classic Mystery Game, and Assistant Stage Managed for 9-5 the Musical. She was most recently seen on stage as Shelby in Steel Magnolias, as a Flying Monkey in The Wizard of Oz Musical, and as an Aphrodite Camper in Percy Jackson the Musical. Thank you to Tara Steffens who puts a piece of her heart and soul into everything she makes and to Sebastian who has a piece of my heart.

Bobby CovingtonBobby is thrilled to be joining The Riverside Players once again and honored to play this role in a dream show! Recent shows/roles include The Wizard of Oz (Cowardly Lion), The Drowsy Chaperone (Aldolpho), The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (Grover), Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat (Musical Director) and Beauty and the Beast (Beast). Big thanks to Tara and Sebastian for constantly inspiring me and pushing me to be the best version of myself on and off stage and to my family and friends for your support. BFA, MBA

Ellie BleyEllie is a Senior at Missouri State University studying vocal music education. She is excited to return to Riverside this summer as a cast member and assistant music director. Ellie was seen in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as a Narrator and in Big Fish as an Alabama Lamb. She was an active member of St. Francis Borgia High School's theatre troupe and always enjoys summer shows with the Riverside family. She would like to thank Tara, Maya, Bobby, and all of the cast and crew.

Sebastian MontowineSebastian is excited to be performing his 6th show with The Riverside Players! In previous shows at Riverside Sebastian could be seen in roles such as Judah from Technicolor Dreamcoat and Gangster 1 from Drowsy Chaperone. Thank you to his amazing girlfriend, his family and friends for all of their support.

Crew/Top Tier Human
Christian Masawi Christian Masawi is a senior in Computer Science at Missouri University of Science and Technology. At S&T, Christian is a Technician for Leach theater and the ALP Department as well as the current secretary for the school's improv group, Perfect 10. Christian's happy to bring the tech knowledge Will Unk taught him back to his old stomping grounds. Also, he said you should "Play EarthBound (1994)"; whatever that means.

Tech Supervisor/Lighting Designer/Theatre Wizard
Tim BuchheitMr. Buchheit is a 1985 graduate of SFBRHS, a 1989 graduate of Northeast Missouri State University, and a 2000 graduate of Roosevelt University in Chicago. He received the SFBRHS Teacher of the Year award in 1998 and 2022, the Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year in 2000, the Franklin County Relay for Life Hero for Hope in 2020, and he was inducted into the Educational Theatre Association Hall of Fame in 2021. He is the president and co-founder of The Riverside Players Community Theatre. He has been the director of Theatre and Speech at Borgia since 1995 and has directed over 200 shows for Borgia, The Riverside Players, and Six Flags St. Louis. He is married to Sarah Buchheit and is the father of JT Buchheit.

Ty BequetteTy Bequette is a Senior at Mizzou, majoring in Theatre and History. This is his 5th show with Riverside and his 2nd time doing tech. Previous shows include Riverside’s Drowsy Chaperone as Gangster 2 and Denis in ECC’s The Play That Goes Wrong. He would like to thank Tara for directing this show and his girlfriend Jovie for her love and support.

Erica RussellI’m Erica Russell. This is my second show for Riverside Players after a long hiatus. I’m very happy and excited to be back.

Josie CollinsJosie Collins, 4th Riverside show, my favorite riverside shows are Big Fish and Joseph, social work major and criminal justice minor semo, participated in theater all 4 years of high school, Borgia alum, I love reading, thrifting, and taking walks. (Parents angie and lance collins?) other shows, mamma mia, we live by the sea, Kodachrome, Addams family, etc. work at Ross and I love shopping, thank you so much to tara and mr b for always helping along with the other riverside board members who make it possible each year to do community theatre. I love the friendly and open environment of community theatre and I am extremely grateful the chance to participate each year.

Spot Op/Production
Kar MeyerKar has been doing technical theatre since highschool. They went on to get their associate's degree from East Central College. This is their 7th production running spotlight and first time working with the Riverside Players.

Props Mistress/ Scenic Design
Tori BarnhardThis is Tori's first show at Riverside Players, and she is very excited to be props master. She has done theatre at ECC and Union High School. She also received a Technical Recognition Award from SLHSMTA now known as the Ken Page awards for her work on Little Shop of Horrors.
Production Crew/Light Board Operator
Jillian StiggeThis is Jillian's first show with riverside. But has worked on multiple other shows with ECC like stage management for Spongebob the musical, She Kills monsters, and Wizard of Oz, and technician for many of their other shows. They want to thank each person who has continued to help and encourage them to continue their passion for theater.
