Alex Cooper (Man In Chair)is delighted to be returning to The Riverside Players after almost 10 years for one of his absolute favorite shows. Favorite credits include Jeff in [title of show] (RSP), Snoopy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (RSP), Topper in Scrooge (LU), and directing 9 to 5 with Riverside. He wants to thank his friends and family for supporting him jumping back on stage.
Andrew Carter (Geroge, The Best Man George)He has been doing shows at riverside since he was 15, and is very excited to be back on the stage! Recent favorite roles include Plankton (Spongebob the musical), Will (Big Fish) and Jonathan (Play That Goes Wrong). He would like to thank his friends, especially Sebastian and Zack, for always being there, and his mom for her constant love and support.
Lainie Shollenberger (Janet Van de Graff)has been a part of Riverside since 2019, and is so excited to be back on stage! Recent shows with Riverside include Joseph(Potiphar’s Wife) & Bright Star(Spirit). Other recent roles include The Lightning Thief(Thalia) and Beauty & the Beast(Silly Girl) at ECC. Sending a huge thank you for everyone who loves and supports me; I couldn’t do it without you!
CJ Satterfield (Robert Martin) is excited to be returning the stage with the Riverside Players. He has been in over 30 productions since his first show Children of Eden back in 2000. Some of his recent roles include Jesus (Godspell), Jimmy Ray (Brightstar), and Denny (Life Could Be a Dream). He is thrilled to be doing another show with his beautiful wife, Tiffany Satterfield. He would like to thank his family and friends for all their love and support.
Bobby Covington (Aldolpho)He joined The Riverside Players in Godspell (Jesus) back in 2009 and most recently as the Music Director for Joseph last summer. Recent performances include The Lightning Thief (Grover) and Beauty and the Beast (Beast) at East Central College. BFA Theatre-UCM, Member Theta Alpha Phi National Theatre Fraternity. Kelly Schmidt (The Drowsy Chaperone)
While seeing a Riverside Players production a couple years ago, Kelly was lured back to the stage after more than a decade away. She was blessed to be part of The Riverside Players’ amazing cast of Joseph in 2024 and happily stumbled into Drowsy this year. In addition to Joseph and Drowsy, Kelly’s fav regional credits include Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Cats, Curtains, and the many fun shows of her long-ago youth. Kelly would like to thank her wonderful family and friends for all their love and support. And a big thank you to the fabulous cast, crew, and exceptionally talented director Tara Steffens. Cheers!

Tiffany Satterfield (Kitty, Just Kitty)is returning to her 24th show with Riverside. She was last seen in our production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She’s so blessed she is able to continue to do theatre with her husband, C.J. Tiffany appreciates all of his love and support. She would also like to thank her parents for always showing up and being there for her through everything.
David Dennis (Feldzieg)....wait. Who's askin'? What are you, a cop? David Dennis ain't here. He definitely ain't been around with these "Riverside Players" for something like 14 shows or nothing. I know he LOOKS like that guy who was Pharoah in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat last year or Edward Bloom in Big Fish the year before that. So scram! Hey, if you see him, I'm sure he'd like to thank his lovely wife Ellen for all her love and support.
Sebastian Montowine (Gangster 1)Sebastian is excited to return to his 5th show with Riverside. Previously seen on the Riverside stage as Judah (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) and the bearded lady (Big Fish). Ty Bequette (Gangster 2)
Emma Busch (Trix, The Aviatrix)is an ECC graduate and almost newly licensed esthetician. This is her third show with Riverside, and 19th show overall. Other notable roles include Tilly from She Kills Monsters, Fury/Ensemble from Percy Jackson (ECC), Levi from Joseph and the… Dreamcoat, and Ensemble in Big Fish (RSP). She’d like to thank her friends, family, and cat, Leia, for supporting her.
Zane Bequette (Superintendent)
Emma Miller (Featured Ensemble (Understudy Trix/Janet/Kitty))Just graduated from State Fair Community College with an AFA Musical Theatre and will continue on with a BFA Musical Theatre at South Carolina School of the Arts. Other Roles include Alice Spencer from Alice by Heart, Molly Ralston from MouseTrap, Sally/Thalia/ Ensemble from Percy Jackson, and The Witch from Big Fish. Evan Kiriakidis (Ensemble)Recent ECC graduate and now working on his Theatre BFA at Lindenwood, this actor is happy to return to the stage for the summer! Notable roles have been Oliver Rivers from Puffs (ECC), Ghosts from Macbeth (LU), and spotlight roles from Big Fish and Joseph (RSP). Shout out to Big I, my partner Haley, and my sister for keeping me sane.
Briley Howell (Ensemble/Reporter 1)Briley is excited tthat after all the years of asking, someone is finally doing The Drowsy Chaperone! Thrilled to be back with The Riverside Players, Briley has been seen before on stage in 9 to 5, Bright Star and Pippin. While helping put dance on stage for Big Fish and a handful more, she would like to thank the theatre community for always being there and her family for always asking what the next show will be. Thank you for being there, for when she feels blue.

Jules Knight (Featured Ensemble/Reporter)This is Jules’ first show with Riverside! She’s been in a variety of plays, musicals, and operas over the last decade. Most recent credits include Herself (Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind), Oracle/Janis Joplin/Ensemble (The Lightning Thief), Harry (Night of the Living Dead Live), Steve (She Kills Monsters), and First Lady (Die Zauberflöte). Jules is also an Advanced Actor/Combatant in the Society of American Fight Directors. She'd like to thank her friends, family, and two cats for their continued love and support.
Christian Masawi (Ensemble)
A senior in Computer Science at Missouri S&T who, in terms of acting, sticks to improv with Perfect 10 these days. Everything Christian does is for the glory of the father... no, not that one; his grandfather-- also his grandma too.
Sabren Mastin (Ensemble)
an ECC graduate who will be continuing her schooling at Webster University for Accounting, Anthropology, and Theatre/Film. This is her second production with the Riverside Players and 16th overall. Her favorite productions that she has participated in include Nevermore: The Imaginary Life & Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe (SHS), Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor DreamCoat (RSP), and The Pizza Priest short film (cobmenx on YT). She would like to thank her friends, family, and Wibbs for all the support <3.
Miah Belcher (Ensemble/Cloud Dancer)This is her first show with riverside! She has been in many productions the past ten years with other groups; her top two including, The little mermaid where she played Ariel and Mama Mia as ensemble. She would like to thank Jesus, her cast and crew, friends, and parents for all the support and fun times.
Sarah Scharffenberg (Ensemble/Cloud Dancer)
this is Sarah's third riverside player show. She started here with Big Fish with the help of her many theatre friends encouraging her to audition. She is so grateful to the people who always support her, especially her mom who goes every night just to be there for her. She wouldn’t know where she’d be without her.
Myah Gillette (OG) (Ensemble/Cloud Dancer)
Myah is excited for her debut as an actor in a riverside show. She was the head of costumes for Big Fish, and has performed with other groups for the last 6 years, including Ivy in Lindenwood University’s production of John Proctor is The Villain and Morticia in The Addams Family at Borgia. She would like to thank her friends for encouraging her, and the new friends she has made throughout the production of this show!
Sophi Anderson (Ensemble/Cloud Dancer)Eileen Belcher (Ensemble)
is embracing the opportunity to be in a play once again but this time with both her daughter, Miah and her sister, Kelly after a very, very long break from the stage. Previously she’s had the opportunity to perform in many musicals but more recently was able to be on the other side and vocal direct students with Ohana Productions. Eileen would like to thank the director Tara as well as the cast and crew for all their hard work and her precious family and friends their love and support in everything she does!
