Big Fish Creative
Director
Justin Pimentel Justin Pimentel is from Cranston, RI and is the director of "Big Fish" as well as an English instructor at The Prout School. Mr. Pimentel holds a theatre degree from Providence College, has acted and directed with many theaters in and outside of RI, runs a theatre camp for youths in Massachusetts and has been teaching for more years than he'd like to admit. His all time favorite acting roles include George in "Of Mice and Men", Barry in "Talk Radio" and Vanya in "Life Sucks". This is his second show with Prout.
Music Director
Jennifer Christina Jennifer Christina is a Rhode Island based pianist, educator and music director
with over 20 years of experience and an extensive background in musical
theatre. Jennifer is the music director and collaborative pianist for theatre
productions at Salve Regina University, Dean College, the Brown/Trinity
Repertory Acting Program and Academy Players of Rhode Island. She has
performed professionally for Theatre by the Sea, Ocean State Theatre, Trinity
Repertory Company, North Shore Music Theatre and the Wilbury Theatre Group.
Jennifer is an active accompanist and has been the music director for Chestnut
Hill Church since 2013. She recently completed her first international tour in
Asia as associate music director/keyboard with the cast and company of
Dreamgirls.
Stage Manager
Marra CapraroMarra is a senior from Coventry, RI acting as the Big Fish stage manager! Marra has experience as sound operator and assistant stage manager in each Prout show since her freshman year. Some include South Pacific, Matilda, It's a Wonderful Life, and The Secret Garden. As her last Spring musical, she is excited for you all to enjoy the show!
Marketing
Christian PerryChristian Perry is a junior and has designed the Big Fish website within On The Stage while having previous theatre experience in a Peter Pan musical as Captain Hook. He has an interest in writing and has written most of the cast and creative team biographies. He also enjoys drawing artwork and is part of Prout’s Sailing Team while doing the photography for the sail team’s various activities and events. He is interested in doing graphic design marketing in college while continuing to support theatre productions.
Promotion and Deck Manager
Phoebe Ferguson Phoebe is a Junior from Kingston. She enjoys art and design along with other hobbies like rock climbing, cooking, and gardening. She is passionate about Graphic Design and hopes to study it in college. She has designed both the Big Fish and All In The Timing posters for The Prout School Theatre productions this year. She is also the deck captain for the Big Fish production.
Co-Choreographer
Charlotte Ferguson Charlotte is a Junior and co-choreographer for Big Fish. She was recently seen in the Fall production of "All in the Timing" and will showcase her directing ability in the May IB Theatre devised production of "A Mid-Summer Nights Dream." She is from Kingston and has been part of the Prout Theater program since Freshman year. Her past experience includes roles in Matilda, It’s a Wonderful Life, Shout, All In The Timing, and more. She has been dancing for 14 years and loves to tap dance!
Head Costume Design
Erin AbatielloErin is a Junior from Warwick, RI. She is in costume design and has been an actress and singer for previous shows since her freshman year. She is planning to major in music and education, she plans to continue the arts in college.
Head Prop/Stage Dressing
Lili BorkeLili is a junior from Narragansett RI. She is helping in costume design. She has been helping design costumes for various shows since she was little. She is planning to continue working with the arts in college.
Co-Choreographer
Cat WantaCat is a senior from Westerly, RI. She is an International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate and has been a part of almost every Prout show since freshman year. She is excited to show her choreography in Big Fish!
Sound
Marley AhlijanianMarley is a junior from Exeter and the sound engineer for Big Fish. They have been working in tech since freshman year in shows like Matilda, and this year's production of All in the Timing. They have also participated as an actor in many productions in and out of school, such as Prout’s production of “It’s a Wonderful Life”.
Light Board
Veronica WathenVeronica is a Junior from Narragansett, RI. She has operated the lights for all Prout productions and events since sophomore year. Veronica plans to manage her college’s lights board in the future.
Photography
Mary FonfaraMary is a sophomore from North Kingstown. She has done photography for many different school events over this school year. She has taken photos and videos for the All in the Timing production and the Winter Arts Show.
