About Curtains
It's 1959, and Boston's Colonial Theatre is hosting the opening night performance of a new musical when the leading lady mysteriously dies on stage, making the entire cast and crew of the show potential suspects. Enter a local detective, who just happens to be a musical theatre fan! Packed with glorious tunes by Kander & Ebb, and a witty, charming book by Rupert Holmes, CURTAINS is a hilariously suspenseful musical comedy whodunit that will keep you guessing until the end!
The Broadway production of CURTAINS starring David Hyde Pierce garnered 8 nominations at the 2007 Tony Awards® including Best Musical.
The Pied Piper Theatre
The Pied Piper Theatre is a community-based organization in Northern Manhattan that nurtures children’s artistic and life skills through theater, music, and dance production. Through the creative process, young people ages 6-18 from different cultural backgrounds experience the power of collaboration, joy of performing, and the reward of collective accomplishment. Our safe and inclusive environment cultivates community, resilience, and empathy - values that participants will carry with them both on and off stage. The theatre also gives Northern Manhattan residents of all ages the chance to be audience members to four full-scale theatrical productions per year.
