Arsenic and Old Lace, by Joseph Kesselring, is a clever combination of the farcical and the macabre. This play centers on two elderly sisters who are famous in their Brooklyn neighborhood for their numerous acts of charity. Mortimer Brewster, their nephew, is living a happy life: a steady job as a drama critic, a beautiful new fiancé, and two doting aunts, who unbeknownst to him have a few secrets they've been keeping. Mortimer always knew that his family had a bit of a mad gene – his brother believes himself to be Teddy Roosevelt after all and his great-grandfather used to scalp Indians for pleasure – but his world is turned upside down when…You'll have to come see the show to find out the rest!
