Curtains Cast

After years of supporting theatre from backstage - lending his talents to set building and prop creating, Chris is on stage for the first time ever! He is excited to share this experience on stage with his daughters and wants to thank his fabulous wife for her patience and understanding during the last few months of a crazy schedule!

This is Corey’s 3rd musical with NAC and her 7th overall. She loves performing and has had multiple main roles in her middle school musicals including Eric in Matilda Jr., Gill in Finding Nemo Jr., and is currently cast as Crutchie in this year’s production of Newsies Jr. Corey is so excited to be doing another show with the NAC community and is having so much fun.

Kensington Aman is thrilled to return to NAC for Curtains!! Her most recent roles were Trix the Aviatrix in Wayne High School's production of The Drowsy Chaperone and she will be performing in Gatesinger's You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown as Lucy Van Pelt later this November. Kensington was also in last year’s NAC production of Cinderella in the ensemble. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her throughout the show, as well as the crew and production team for making this all possible.

acob recently performed in The Drowsy Chaperone at Wayne Central where he is a Junior. Jacob has also recently done Heathers (Kurt ) and Spamalot (The Black Knight ). He has been taking voice lessons and performing with MT Ed. He has performed in over 30 musicals. Jacob also performs in the select choir and Benway boys at his high school. He looks forward to performing and learning all aspects of the theatre. Jacob would like to thank his friends and family for all their love and support.

Emmyt was in the Wayne High School’s performance of The Drowsy Chaperone last year as Adolpho. This is his first show with NAC. Emmyt is a multi-sport athlete who likes singing and musical theatre.

David is excited to be back doing another show with NAC. Some of his theatre credits include Senator Flipp in Urinetown, an ensemble role at NTID’s In the Heights, and a featured sardine in NAC’s production of SpongeBob the Musical. David has also been a stage manager for a version of School House Rock Live.

Courtney is an 11th grader at Wayne High School. Sheis a High Honor Roll student and is in the Select Choir at her school. She spends most of her time singing, dancing, and acting in many shows around Rochester. Some of her most recent roles have been Featured Dancer (The Drowsy Chaperone), Audrey (Little Shop of Horrors), and she has spent this past summer at the New York State Summer School of the Arts in their School of Theatre. Besides singing and dancing, Courtney loves to read and spend time with her friends in her free time. Courtney would like to thank her family members and friends for all the support to get her where she aspires to be.

Kyle is ecstatic to be back on stage with NAC in this hilarious musical with murder around every corner. He performed in the ensemble in NAC’s production of Cinderella. Kyle was most recently on stage last month with ETC Inc’s production of 12 Angry Jurors where he got the pleasure of performing with his husband. Kyle has also done productions both on and off the stage with ETC Inc., M.T. Ed, Pittsford Musicals and in the Fringe Festival. When Kyle is not doing theater you can find him at the City of Rochester Public Market or at home with his husband Jeff and four cats Elliot, Elphaba, Rose, and Girlie. Kyle would like to thank the cast and production team for being so amazing. Kyle gives a huge thank you to his husband Jeff for holding down the fort at home while he was busy rehearsing for two shows and always being his grounding force. Kyle dedicates his performance to his dear friend Billy and his grandparents who were his biggest cheerleaders. Now let’s head down to Kansasland.

Caitlin is so thrilled to be part of her first show with NAC and to be a "show person" again after 10 years away from the stage! She couldn't have done this without her boyfriend, Jon, who somehow never fails to be on board with her next big idea. Special thanks to all of the friends and family that have shown their support and the cast and crew for such an incredible, welcoming experience!

Raeanne has recently been in Gatesinger’s production of Grumpy Old Men. She was also in NAC’s productions of Cinderella and State Fair. Raeanne is excited to be on stage with old and new friends. All the love to her family, Dean, and Holly.

usan has been in the last three NAC productions; Cinderella, SpongeBob the Musical, and Something Rotten. She is thankful to NAC for all the amazing experiences!

Thomas has been performing in the Rochester area for over 15 years, earning his associates in theater performance from Monroe Community College. By day he is a Wares Processor for Goodwill of the Finger Lakes. Past theatre credits include, The Merchant & Others in The Brother's Grimm Spectaculathon (Mt Ed), Fred in A Christmas Carol (Mt Ed) Oompa Loompa # 1 in Willy Wonka (NAC), And Stanley Lambchop in The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley (MCC). In Fall 2017, Thomas studied Theme Park Entertainment and earned his “Mousters Degree” while taking part of the Disney College Program in Orlando, FL. Thanks to all who supported Thomas in all of his endeavors!

Malaysia has been in previous productions of Anastasia, Alice in Wonderland Jr, and Peter Pan Jr. I’ve always loved theater, but I've been told I’m not good enough. That doesn’t stop me from having fun doing what I love.

Shelby is overjoyed to be returning to the stage at NAC. Most recently, Shelby played Charlotte in Neighborhood Acting Company’s productions of Cinderella. Other Rochester theatre credits include My Big Gay Italian Wedding (Andrea), You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (Snoopy), The Prom (Dee Dee Allen), It Shoulda Been You (Annie). Shelby would like to thank her family, friends, and all of her students for their continuous love and support. She would also like to dedicate her performance to her father, Drew, who passed away last year. It makes her heart happy knowing he will never have to miss another show and he will always have the best seat in the house.

Victoria is excited to be back on the stage at NAC. Previously, theater credits include Cinderella (ensemble) with NAC and The Prom (ensemble) with MTEd. Victoria has also volunteered her time backstage helping with hair/makeup and as a stage hand. Her passion for dance and the support from her sister, Shelby, is what brought her back to performing arts. Victoria would like to thank her mom and amazing boyfriend, Zack, for their continuous support. She would like to thank the cast for such an amazing experience. Lastly, she would like to dedicate her performance to her father, Drew, who passed away a year ago. Though he may not be in the audience tonight, she knows he has the best seat in the house.

Lois is thrilled to be working with NAC again. A long retired High School music educator, Lois remains actively involved in community theater, as director, performer and pit player. She last appeared onstage as Aunt Eller with Webster Theater Guild, and offstage as vocal and artistic director of Grumpy Old Men – the Musical with Gatesinger Company LTD. She has directed for NAC (Big Fish, State Fair) and The Gatesinger Company Ltd. (Little Women, Irene, Curtains). Other community theatre roles include Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn in Music Man, Martha Watson in White Christmas, Berthe in Pippin, and Ernestine Von Liebedich in Little Merry Sunshine. Her current music endeavors include playing clarinet and sax in three New Horizons ensembles and two community bands. You are never too old for music in your life.

o’s previous theatre credits include A Chorus Line, Fiddler on the Roof, and Pride and Prejudice where she played Mary Bennett.

Leah’s past credits include Cowboy Bob in Footloose, George in The Drowsy Chaperone, and the ensemble is Cinderella. Thank you to the production team and the cast for making this show great!

Will was in NAC’s production of Cinderella last year. He has also performed in Sound of Music and Fiddler on the Roof. Will is thrilled to get the chance to participate in his second show with NAC. He loves theater with a passion and is excited to fill the role of Daryl Grady in the production of Curtains. Will currently dreams of show business while he fills his role as Electrical Engineer during his day to day.

Sylvia has been in many different types of performances including Hold me, hold me a student written and directed production at HWC Colleges. She was also in a kinetic dance collective fall showcase also at HWC Colleges. Sylvia was a part of Musical theatre mayhem in 2023. She is an aspiring writer and multidisciplinary artist and is working on a series of novels.

Dawn is returning to the stage for this year’s Curtains. Music has always been a big part of Dawn’s life so being able to be a part of NAC has been a lot of fun! She previously performed with NAC in Cinderella, Something Rotten and State Fair. Prior to that, her last performances were 44 years ago right here at Wayne Central in Oklahoma (Ensemble), The Sound of Music (Liesl), and L’il Abner (Dancer). She’d like to thank her son, Andy, for encouraging her to give NAC a try as well as husband, Duane, daughter, Becca, and daughter-in-law Morgan for their support!

This is Martha’s second show with NAC. She was part of the ensemble in last year’s production of Cinderella.

Cameron’s past roles include Tarzan (Tarzan), Mr. MacAfee (Bye Bye Birdie), Horton Hears a Who (Seussical), Chef Louis (The Little Mermaid), Beast (Beauty and the Beast), Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid), George Banks (Mary Poppins), Randall (Bring it on), Matthew (12 Dancing Princesses). I've also performed at Disney.

Laura was in NAC’s production of Cinderella last year.

Grace was in Wayne High School’s production of The Drowsy Chaperone last year as a member of the ensemble. Grace is a senior at Wayne High School and she is very excited to be involved with NAC this year!

Connor is delighted and grateful to perform with NAC for the first time! Recently Connor portrayed Neville Landless/Victor Grinstead in the other Rupert Holmes murder mystery musical, The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Geneso Community Players). You may have also previously seen him as Oscar Lindquist in Sweet Charity (OFC Creations), or Ike Skidmore in Oklahoma! (Webster Theatre Guild). Connor has also appeared in several productions with The Company Theatre and Pittsford Musicals. By day, Connor can be found working as an environmental toxicologist, using his expertise of science to solve problems in human health and environmental chemical exposure. Connor would like to thank all of his friends, family, husband Joshua, and of course his two cats, Zephyr and Agatha for all of their support!

Nancy is excited to be back with NAC. Some of her recent roles were Bonnie Bunny’s Easter Adventure as Nancy Doe, Emotional Baggage at Rochester Fringe Festival as overbearing mother, and the ensemble in Billy Elliot. So happy to be performing with my NAC family again! Thank you to this amazing production team and cast! Love to my family, especially my sweet Annie June! xo

A few of Joanna’s favorite roles include playing the wife in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with NAC in 2000 and 2010, Liat and a nurse in NAC’s 2007 production of South Pacific and Birdgirl in Seussical with NAC is 2005. Joanna is excited to be back with NAC after a hiatus of 14 years. She would like to thank her son Sean for being her partner in “crime” and the rest of her family for the love and support!

Sean has been in productions of Crazy for You, Cinderella, and Anything Goes. He is happy to be in a NAC show with his Mother for the first time.

This is Stacey’s first show with NAC, but she is no stranger to the stage. She has been in productions of Oklahoma, Guys and Dolls, and Brigadoon.

Sue has performed with Gatesingers in their productions of Grumpy Old Men as Karla and Into the Woods as Granny and Cinderella’s mother. Her favorite show was Big Fish with NAC where she played the Mermaid. Doing shows with Gatesingers has been a part of Sue’s life for many years. Then she joined the cast of Big Fish with NAC and was introduced to a whole new group of friends and fellow thespians. Sue is so happy to be back in a NAC show, with friends old and new. Thank you to Mike for his support and to the entire cast and crew for their hard work, dedication, and all the laughter we share. BAL

Larissa is excited to join the immensely talented cast in this production of Curtains, her fifth show with the Neighborhood Acting Company. She was last seen on the NAC stage in last year’s production of Cinderella. In addition to NAC, she has performed with The Gatesinger Company, Ltd. and Off-Monroe Players. Favorite past roles include Into the Woods (Little Red), Little Women (Aunt March) and Creatures of Impulse (Pipette). Enjoy the show!

Caleb is excited to take the stage with Curtains for the 2nd time, previously playing the role of Daryl Grady for the Gatesingers Company in 2019. This is Caleb’s 3rd show with NAC, following State Fair and Cinderella, both of which he featured in the ensemble. Other past roles include Cowboy Bob in Footloose and Joe in Pajama Game. Caleb would like to thank the cast and crew for making this a fun experience and for all the hard work and dedication put into this production.

Chris was in NAC’s production of Cinderella as an ensemble member last year. She has performed as the narrator of the Dramatic Play Readings with the Gatesinger Company. Chris is excited to be part of this great cast. Thank you to everyone for helping make this a fun show!

Some of Sammi’s favorite productions she has been in include I Hate Shakespeare, Into the Woods, and How to Succeed in High School Without Even Trying .

Lisa’s stage credits include Over There, 42nd Street, and SpongeBob the Musical. This is Lisa’s second NAC show. She is happy to be sharing the stage with new people as well as friends from SpongeBob. She would like to thank her friends and family for their support throughout this show! You’re all the best!

Joshua’s last three performances include All Shook Up, Pajama Game, and Something Rotten. After getting covid in the last week of rehearsals for Something Rotten a few years back and not being able to participate as a result, as well as not being in a show for the following 2 years because of scheduling conflicts, I'm very excited to be back on stage once again!

Kylie’s most recent performance was Ella is NAC’s production of Cinderella last year. Kylie says tell your dog I said hi!

Some of Brittany’s previous roles include Urinetown at Webster Theatre Guild, Peter Pan, and Winnifred the Woebegone in OUAM. Brittany is so excited to be afforded the opportunity to perform with such an exceptional cast and crew. She hopes her two sons, Jack and Ben, are proud of seeing their mom sing, dance, and act on stage!

This is Adair’s 20th NAC production. Some of her favorite shows include Grumpy Old Men with Gatesingers, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe with Webster Theatre Guild, and Fiddler on the Roof with Webster Theatre Guild. Adair is a retired special education teacher. Besides acting, Adair plays flute and piccolo in four Eastman New Horizons groups, Webster Village Band, American Music Abroad, and East Rochester Fire Department Band.

Some of Hannah’s recent productions include How to Host a Muder Mystery Dinner Party, Cinderella, and Spongebob the Musical. Hannah is a senior in high-school, and is excited to be doing her third show with NAC! She is most known for her role as Brutus in Shakespeare's Julius Ceasar and Oberon in Midsummer Night's Dream. She would like to thank the amazing cast for everyone being so nice, and all her family and friends that came to see her, and Goose who is in Florida and couldn't come.

Cadence has been in many shows. Some of her recent roles were Persephone (Hadestown), Urleen (Footloose), Melponen (Xanadu). I’d like to thank my friends and family for all their unconditional love and support. I wouldn’t be here without them. KJ

Cara was recently in Spotlight Theatre Art’s production of Steel Magnolias as M’Lynn. I am so thankful to be sharing the stage again with my daughter, Cadence.

Cody’s previous production include Lucas Beineke in Addams Family, Captain Von Trapp in Sound of Music , and the ensemble in Curtains. Cody is very excited to put on this production! It is his first musical after 5 years! Curtains was Cody’s first musical he ever did 8 years ago. He would like to thank his family for their support!

Jaimie has been in her high school’s productions of Nice Work If You Can Get It and Drowsy Chaperone. She was also in Moana Jr.

Roy has been “treading the boards” since he was 8 yrs old and has appeared in many local and regional productions. Recent credits include: OFC Creations - Billy Elliot (Mr Elliot), La Cage Aux Folles (Georges), It’s Only A Play (Ira); Webster Theatre Guild – South Pacific (Emile); JCC – The Normal Heart (Ben); Pittsford Musicals – Steel Pier (Mick), Company (Harry), Dames at Sea (Captain), Chicago (Billy); E.T.C. – Assassins (Cholgosz), 9 to 5 (Hart), Titanic (Ismay), Regrets Only (Hank); RWCCT 42nd St (Julian), Oklahoma! (Jud). Roy was featured in Strong Museum’s Making American Music Series productions of Some Enchanted Evening & Side By Side By Sondheim. He also appeared locally in the RPO’s Concert Production of South Pacific and in I Love You You’re Perfect Now Change with Great Lakes Theatre Company. Roy holds a BA in Theatre History from SUNY Oswego.
