About 2026 Passion Week Concert Series
Each year during Passion Week, The Master’s University School of Music presents a powerful concert series at Forest Lawn’s Hall of Crucifixion-Resurrection. Surrounded by the world’s largest religious painting, audiences are invited into a moving musical journey that reflects on Christ’s suffering, sacrifice, and triumph. Through sacred works performed by TMU’s ensembles, this concert lifts hearts and minds in worship of the risen Savior.
Join us this Passion Week for an entirely French program, featuring Fauré's Requiem, Saint-Saëns' symphonic poem Danse macabre, one of his most enduring works, and the ethereal Gymnopédie No. 1 and No. 3 by Erik Satie (orchestrated by Debussy: the only time he did this for another composer's works!).
This event is a private reservation and is not endorsed or sponsored by Forest Lawn Memorial Parks & Mortuaries.
