Michael Kish
Michael Kish is a writer, director, actor, and billionaire playboy in the 12th grade. He's written three plays, directed two, acted in 10 plays at the Heights, and is the Editor-In-Chief of the Heights' Literary Journal, Journeyman. When not working at Sarah's Handmade Ice Cream, Michael can be found writing, doing stand-up comedy, and contemplating the divine. He will be attending the Catholic University of America in the Fall, and, after years of litigation, he is excited to finally be free of the contract that legally binds him to act for the Omnibus Players.

Jackson McDonnell
Jackson is in 8th grade at The Heights. He has been the stage manager for the previous four plays as well. Jackson enjoys playing baseball, blasting music, and hiking.

Lighting Director
John Cardoni
John Cardoni is one of the many freshmen in the Omnibus Players at the Heights School. He is the current lighting director and was the lighting assistant for the previous play. John intends to stay with the drama club until his graduation from the Heights.

Dennis Callahan
Dennis is the master of lighting design. He intends to master the world. He likes reading Russian novels. He'd like to thank Dostoevsky and Tolstoy for showing him the light.

Assistant Stage Manager
Luke Nowak
Luke Nowak is in his freshman year, and Meprises will be his third production at the heights (But not his last!). Before the Heights, he appeared as the title characters in Shakespeare's "Hamlet" and "Henry V. Luke can be found writing and playing dungeons and dragons in his free time.

Simon Vitz
At present, Simon is navigating his sophomore year. He has previously played the roles of Prop Master, Prop Master and Prop Master in some previous Heights plays. Simon has found a new joy in running, and is currently on the school track team. When he is not acquiring props or running, Simon may be found woodcarving, looking at maps (he loves maps), or playing pool.

Peter Schindler
Peter Schindler has been attending the Heights since third grade, with a break in sixth grade, while he lived in Switzerland and traveled Europe with his family. Since then, his love for history rapidly grew. He now enjoys visiting battlefields, forts, National Historic Sites, National Monuments, Memorials, and National Parks.

Andrew Acevedo
A native of Bogotá, Colombia, Mr. Acevedo earned his B.S. in Physical Science from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1979, then served at sea as a weapons and operations specialist on ships of the U.S. Naval Fleet, and served at the Bureau of Naval Personnel as a special assistant for reserve officer promotions. Andrew retired from the US Navy after more than twenty years of service and relocated to the Washington, D.C. area. Andrew began teaching at The Heights in 2006. Andrew teaches all levels of The Heights Spanish curriculum. His hobbies include reading, travel, automobile restoration and home remodeling. He lives in Chevy Chase.

Joseph Bissex
Mr. Bissex has worked in high school, college, and community theater for 20 years at a dozen organizations, and has never witnessed such an outpouring of enthusiastic originality as is coming from our Heights students this year. Congrats to our indefatigable seniors: John Paul, Salvatore, Logan, Max, Joaquin, Michael, Daniel, and TJ! Your contributions have reset the high bar for the Omnibus Players and the Tower Fools!

George Martin
Mr. Martin ('10) returned in 2014 to work in the admissions office. Having had the privilege of studying philosophy at The Catholic University of America, he found himself with a deep appreciation for the liberal arts rooted in the education he received at The Heights. Coming with experience from his work in the Youth Leadership Foundation, local parochial schools, as well as commercial real estate, George hopes to contribute his abilities to further the mission of the school. He teaches Computer Science to the upper school, oversees the Computer Science team, develops and maintains The Heights School and the Forum’s website, and is the producer of HeightsCast.

Mark Hieronymus
Mr. Hieronymus is a native of New England. He attended the Trivium School in MA for high school and later earned a B.A. from the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts with a concentration in philosophy. He spent a semester studying art and architecture in Rome, Italy. He taught various subjects to various grades in private and parochial schools for eight years before joining us at the Heights in 2017. Mark teaches middle school latin, art, writing, and photography and graphic design. He is also the school archivist and the policy debate team coach. He and his wife Alexandra live in Maryland with their daughters, Philomena, Sophia, Ella, and son Leo.

Owen Moore
Owen has been behind the scenes working on interviews for Heights plays for several plays now. He brings his rapid hall running and baseball gear to the creative team,...for some reason.
