Clear Blue Sky Cast

TV Broadcaster/Flight Attendant/Cafe Patron/Assistant Director/Props & Costumes (ANDREA BERNARDO)
Andrea has done many shows with The Heights Players both onstage and off. Past onstage favorites include Jo March (A Little Women Christmas Story), Anybodys (West Side Story) and Bet (Oliver). Other favorite credits include CB’s sister (Dog Sees God/ The Theatre Project), Poopsie (Pajama Game/ St. Jeans Players) and Kate (Legally Blonde/ St. Jeans Players).
Dale Cox/Production Assistant (AURORA DREGER)
Aurora is so excited to be back on stage at The Heights Players, and to be working on such an interesting project. During the last year in lockdown, she has participated in a variety of online performances, fundraisers, and readings (Meg in Little Women; Heather Duke in Heathers; Ursula in The Little Mermaid). Over the past two decades in musical theatre, Aurora has been a Hot Box Doll, an Angel, A Kit Kat Girl (twice), a Courtesan, a Burlesque Queen (Sylvie in The Nance), a Broadway hopeful (Kristine in A Chorus Line), and of course, a Stripper (Miss Electra in Gypsy). Not bad, for an aging chorus girl. She has also choreographed many shows near and dear to her heart, including West Side Story, Oliver, and Gypsy.
Maine Local/Terrorist (THOMAS J. KANE)
Mr. Kane is a late blooming actor who always wanted to be on stage. Starting with learning to act truthfully at HB Studio he has realized his dream coming true. Among his favorite roles so far are: The Stage Manager in Our Town, Renfield in Dracula, Robert in Proof, and Polonius in Hamlet, and Tiger Brown in Threepenny Opera. Thank you to all who are making this production possible. Break A Leg!!
John Goren (TOM LEVY)
Tom is thrilled to be back onstage in this wonderful play by my friend, Bruce Karp. Member of the Heights Players family since 1991. Favorite roles include Ben Stone (Follies), Commander Harbison (South Pacific), Uncle Jimmy (No, No Nanette), Alan (Waiting in the Wings), and of course Boy with the Headband in our first A Chorus Line. This is for you, Mom & Dad.
Carol Morgan (HEATHER LYNN)
Heather is thrilled to be back onstage after a one-year hiatus thanks to the pandemic! Heather was last seen as the no-nonsense Miss Cratchitt in The Heights Players production of Gypsy in late 2019. She originally hails from St. Louis, and, after moving to New York City 13 years ago, she has been seen and heard in cabaret clubs all over Manhattan. She is a full-time fundraiser and event planner for an international blood cancer nonprofit called DKMS, and she teaches yoga and plays cello in her free time. Heather wishes the cast and crew of Clear Blue Sky the best of luck, and she would like to dedicate her performance to her loving family and friends. So much gratitude to Tom and Bruce for this wonderful opportunity! You can follow Heather’s adventures on Instagram @theheatherlynnshow.
Jesse Morgan (CRISTIAN NARANJO)
Cristian is excited to be a part of another production with The Heights Players. You might have seen Cristian in Gypsy playing Angie. He has played in some of the drama productions at Xavier high school where he is currently a junior. His last production with his school was Peter and the Starcatcher where he played Smee. He is now honored to be playing Jesse in this production of Clear Blue Sky. When Cristian is not acting he enjoys fencing, cooking and spending time friends and family. He is very thankful to be working with such a talented cast and getting this opportunity once again.
Glenn Canfield (GEORGIE RAIOLA)
Georgie is very excited to be performing again and to do his first play with the Heights Players. He is mostly known for doing musicals with the company, as his credits include Oliver (as Bill Sies), Gypsy (as Yonkers), George M! (as Walt/Eddie Foy/Ensemble), Anything Goes (as Walter), Crazy for You (as Billy), Seussical (as Ensemble), and he participated in the yearly Gala in 2017 as a Song/Skit performer. He would like to thank Tom, Bruce, Andrea, and everyone involved for trusting him to be a part of this amazing project and amazingly talented cast. He would like to thank his family and friends for always supporting him in everything he does. He would also like to thank God for keeping him safe and healthy throughout the pandemic.
Maine Local/Terrorist (TED THOMPSON)
Ted is familiar to Heights Players audiences from upstairs at the box office and sometimes onstage. This summer he resumes his directing chores on our season opener Harvey Weinstein's Casa Valentina which will be dedicated to the memory of the late Albert Walsh. Remember, come September "We're back...in DRESSES!"
Phyllis Goren (LINDA ANN VEGA)
Linda was last seen in Women Underground and The Piece, with The Gallery Players. She also appeared as Harriet Stanley, The Man Who Came To Dinner, St. Jeans Players; Mrs. Chauvenet, Harvey, and Grigsby/Schoolmistress, A Christmas Carol, The Heights Players. Other stage credits include Enchanted April (FAPC Theatre), Point of Origin (The Brick) and Our Town (St. Barts).
Harvey Goren/Editor/Film Consultant (CHRIS YOUNG)
Chris was last seen on our stage in A Man For All Seasons. This past year, he has done editing for A Little Women Christmas Story, The Heights Murders and Four Short Plays By Paul Espel. He is looking forward to the return of live theater in the fall.
Cafe Patron/Man At Airport (GARY VANDERPUTTEN)
This was Gary’s longest scene ever on stage (10 minutes, but no dialogue). He is proud to be a member of this beautiful show with some amazing performances by a talented cast, supported by an equally amazing tech crew.
Barista/Woman At Airport (DORIS MARTIR)
This is Doris' second streaming production with The Heights Players.
