Director
Jennifer HallmanJenn Hallman is a teaching artist and director who has been teaching at The Haverford School for 11 years. She is actively involved in various theatre organizations in the Philadelphia area as a performer, director, acting coach, and educator. Some of her favorite acting credits include The Marvelous Wonderettes, A New Brain, Steel Magnolias, Disenchanted (Philadelphia Premiere), and Little Shop of Horrors. Jenn holds a BFA in Literature and Theatre Arts from West Chester University and is currently pursuing a Graduate Certification in Social, Emotional and Behavioral Wellness from Northwestern University.
Music Director
Matthew MastronardiMatthew Mastronardi is thrilled to be back at Haverford working with Ms. Hallman and this stellar group of students! He has been the Music Director for the Middle School’s productions of Seussical and Willy Wonka, as well as Upper School’s production of Peter and the Starcatcher. Matthew has appeared in many productions in the Philadelphia area. Some of his favorite credits include Peter and the Starcatcher at the Walnut Street Theatre, Man of La Mancha at Act II Playhouse, and 11th Hour Theatre Company’s Into the Woods starring opposite Mr. Hengst! Technical Director
Dex WoodwardMr. Dex Woodward serves as the production manager/technical director of Centennial Hall and all student shows; he is thrilled for the stage to come alive again this year with performances. Dex also works with the Haverford student stage crew on all aspects of the backstage production process and his previous credits include Peter and the Starcatcher, The Three Musketeers, Willy Wonka, and Carousel.
Costume Designer
Andrea Fox This is the beginning of Mrs. Fox's seventh season designing costumes for the Haverford School theatre productions. Past productions include: Peter and the Starcatcher, Billy Budd, Frost/Nixon, West Side Story, Seussical, Henry V, Newsies, Sweeney Todd, The Three Musketeers, Willy Wonka, and Carousel. After a year of a darkened theatre, she is looking forward to working with Mr. Hengst and the student actors once again. They are the reason she comes back to the Haverford School year after year.
