The Snow Queen Cast

Tula Banks (Gerda & Others)
Tula (14) is very excited to be in The Snow Queen and grateful for the experience of working with Leo and fellow cast members! They have participated in acting classes with NYC’s The Barrow Group and Stagecoach Performing Arts in England. Tula has also previously performed in community theatre productions of Cats & The Secret Garden. Additionally, they performed in school productions of Seussical and Mary Poppins. Originally from Washington state, Tula lived in England before moving to NYC and has enjoyed traveling with their family. In their spare time Tula can often be found doing something creative such as painting, crocheting or designing a costume but always with headphones on listening to music.
Joely Feinsilver (Gerda & Others)
Joely (13) is thrilled to be a part of Firebird Youth Theater’s Fall play, The Snow Queen. Joely previously has performed with Atlantic Theather Camp, A Class Act NY, TADA! Youth Theater and Playing with Classics at Different Directions. When not performing, Joely enjoys writing poetry, escaping from escape rooms, and dancing around her apartment learning K Pop choreography. Love to my blood bestie Ani.
Christien Setiadi (Gerda & Others)
Christien (12) is absolutely ecstatic to be part of the Snow Queen! Her love for performance began when she sang at family reunions and this continued to grow when she took her first acting class at the age of 7. Since then, she continues to hone her skill though various theater classes (Playing with the Classics and Acting Out Jr. At Different Directions; Improv at The Firebird Project), camps, and workshops (Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts, Bay Street Theater, Ross Summer, ACANY, Barrow group, summer intensives at Firebird). When not acting she enjoys singing, sketching, hanging out with her friends and family. Big thanks to her family and Leo Lion.
Charlotte Wong (Gerda & Others)
Charlotte (12) is very exited to perform in The Snow Queen with Firebird Youth Theater. Over the years Charlotte has taken many theater classes and camps, including with the Atlantic Theatre Company, The Barrow Group, TADA! Youth Theater, and A Class Act NY. One of Charlotte’s favorite experiences was taking a summer intensive camp with Leo and Firebird Youth Theater. She learned improv, devising from personal narrative, adapting myths and folklore into a play, and exploring the plays of Shakespeare. Charlotte is looking forward to doing more plays and classes on improv in the future.
