Mara Sherman (Director) is a director, writer and founding member of Sherman & Friends. Previous: A Two Woman Hamlet (Capital Fringe 2018, DMV tour 2018-2019, Edinburgh Fringe 2022), Much Ado About Nothing (a co-production with The Coil Project), Dead Dog's Bone: a birthday play (Nu Sass), seven seasons as a dramaturg and costume assistant at Shakespeare Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, California, and innumerable Shakespeare in the Pubs. Leanne Dinverno (Stage Manager) has worn many hats for The Coil Project. She is the current Board Treasurer, and has previously served as a director (Art), stage manager and producer (Strange Tales anthologies), actor (Strange Tales anthologies, A Slow Bullet), and writer/performer (The Coil Project Variety Hour bi-weekly radio show). Prior to her work with the Coil Project, Leanne was a founding member of Off the Quill theater company, where she directed (The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged), A Christmas Cactus, and Completely Hollywood), stage managed, and performed (Violent Delights, A Few Good Men, Frankenstein).
Carl Brandt Long (Fight Choreographer) is a fight director, director, and actor. He has choreographed fights for over fifty productions in the DC area, including A Two Woman Hamlet (Sherman and Friends), and he won a Washington Area Theatre Community Honor for his work on Deathtrap (Mclean Community Players). As a founding member of Grain of Sand Theatre, Carl directed Hamlet: Reframed and Tell-Tale, acted in You Can't Get a Decent Margarita at the North Pole and Raising Cane: A Family Portrait. carlbrandtlong.weebly.com
Emily Sucher (they/she) (Intimacy Choreographer) is a certified intimacy director with Intimacy Directors & Coordinators (IDC). They have had 40+ intimacy direction and consultation credits in the regional DMV theatre scene, intimacy coordinated for several local films, and earned a Helen Hayes nomination for Outstanding Choreography in a Play (2023).
