The Play That Goes Wrong Creative

Director
Rachael Weyers
This is Rachael's directorial debut and her first time working at The Cat. Before moving back to Indiana in 2011, she worked as an actor in several stage productions in Portland, Oregon. She played good and evil twins in an original piece called Fateful Encounters. Another acting credit was playing Kathy in the comedy-drama Vanities. After doing several other stage performances, in 2002 Rachael joined an improv comedy group that performed murder mysteries on a dinner train. She spent every weekend riding on the train performing loosely scripted shows that depended heavily on audience participation. She had a lot of fun developing different characters for the shows to add some humor. After having her daughter in 2008, Rachael stopped acting to focus on being a stay-at-home mom. She is excited to get back into the acting world and to jump into directing. She knew the script she wanted to tackle was The Play That Goes Wrong. She hopes everyone gets some good laughs from our performance.
Stage Manager
Amanda Lund
This is Amanda's second show at The Cat's as stage manager. Amanda has some theatrical background from high school and college, and is excited to return backstage. By day, she works for an esteemed local marketing agency, Moden-a, bringing her project management skills to the theater world. With a deep appreciation for the arts, she brings a unique blend of creativity and organizational skills to the production. Beyond her professional life, she is a devoted mother of three, with a passion for reading, painting, and socializing with friends.
Producer
Beth Glynn
Beth Glynn (Artistic Director and Co-Producer). Beth is so excited to have become the artistic director at Carmel Apprentice Theatre late last summer. Her first-time to co-producer was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. This will be her first play to co-produce. She has been very involved in community theatre, especially at the Carmel Apprentice Theatre, as a volunteer and proud mother of an actress. She would like to think Will and Audrey for this awesome adventure.
Producer
Audrey Larkin
Audrey Larkin has been involved in theatre in one way or another her whole life. She is a graduate from Baldwin Wallace University’s Theater Program in Cleveland, Ohio where she specialized in dramaturgy, directing, and acting. She's been involved in the Carmel Apprentice Theatre almost since it started, when she came in to cover the part of Lucy in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown and she hasn't left. When she’s not at The Cat or at rehearsal you can usually find her scribbling in a notebook, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, or reading a book.
