The Brecksville Theatre
Less than ten Brecksville residents, with a common love of theatre and their community, laid the foundation in 1941 for today’s organization. Since then we have made our home, through the generosity of the Brecksville City governance, in the Old Town Hall, a historic building on the town square. The building has been completely renovated as a theatrical facility with state-of-the art lighting and sound.
As we enter this season of entertaining and serving the community, we have presented more than 200 plays and musicals, countless revues and skits and participated in numerous community events. We have an ever popular Summer Youth Theatre Program, for any child who wishes to gain the experience of live theatre. We are a not-for-profit organization that depends upon our dedicated volunteers who give limitless hours of their time, effort and above all, heart. We are fortunate to count among our members people from all walks of life, all striving to present the best in community theatre. People have always been the key to our success.
The Old Town Hall was built in 1874.
