Who wouldn’t want a doctor in the family? When long-suffering hypochondriac Argan sets up his daughter, Angelique, to marry a doctor in a quest for free medical care, she must work with sly servants and clever relatives to show her father that his obsession with remedies isn’t healthy for anyone. Molière's classic comedy is a timeless satire of vanity, hypocrisy, and medical misinformation.
