Rey Valdez (St. Nick)
Reynaldo Valdez has appeared in several productions with Teatro Audaz including: La Pastorella, Casa de Muneca, and The Taming of the Shrew. Before that he worked with the Houston Theatre Company and Bakershake (the longest running Shakespeare Festival in Texas) when he lived in Houston, TX. By trade Reynaldo is a HS English teacher and works for Harlandale ISD; so if you have teenager, they might already have an opinion about Mr. Valdez.
Guillermo "Billy" De Leon (Pancho)
Guillermo "Billy" De Leon received his Bachelor's from Texas A&M University and his Master's from Texas A&M - Commerce. He is proud to be in his seventh year as Technical Director for the Sandra Day O'Connor High School Theatre Department. Billy has performed with the Award Winning, Emmy Nominated Latino Comedy Project (Austin, TX) and is a 2009 Emmy Nominee. He is an accomplished playwright, actor, director, and technical director. He wishes to thank his wife, Jeanie and daughter Zoe. He is represented by the Bankston Talent Agency.
Ruby Ruiz (Aurelia)
Ruby Raquel Ruiz recently was seen portraying the role of Dolores at the Guadalupe Arts Centers production of Chatos Bridge, the role of Florida in the Screaming Into The Void Festival at Jumpstart Performance Company and The Mask Maker in Luchadora! with Teatro Audaz. She is beyond excited to meet and grow with new talent. She wants to thank her family and friends for their consistent love and support. Thank you! :)
Miranda Valdez-Williams (Elena)
Miranda Valdez-William is so excited to be joining Teatro Audaz for another amazing production. She would like to thank Teatro Audaz for all of the opportunity and support they’ve provided over the years, as well as her loving Husband Dominick and Family for their never ending love and encouragement. Miranda has also starred in Somewhere Over the Border (Ensemble), Luchadora (Hannah), La Pastorella (Vanidad), and Aye, No! (Alicia)
Michiko Villa (Alice)
Michiko Villa is a first-year Theatre Arts and Education double major at the University of the Incarnate Word. She was last seen on the Teatro Audaz stage in Luchadora! as Lupita, for which she was nominated for "Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actress in a Drama" by the Alamo Theatre Arts Council. She would like to thank everyone she has known, for they have influenced her path to lifelong learning.
Mason Anthony Ortiz (Joe)
Mason Anthony Ortiz is an ATAC award winning performer recently seen as El Hijo in Luchadora! performing for Teatro Audaz, and as Cricket/Aquili in The Hero Twins: Blood Race at The Magik Theater. Mason specializes in fight choreography, stunt performance, and physical comedy with his extensive background in movement and competitive combat. After graduating from TAMUCC, Mason then moved to Austin to work on Feature Films as a stunt coordinator and choreographer. In post-COVID, he has returned to his theater roots to continue the pursuit of his passion and growth in the arts and Latin Art Culture.
Esai Gomez (Jimmy)
Esai recently graduated Medina Valley HS with an emphasis in Theater. In recent years, his dedication to Theater has grown, as well as his interests and connections with like-minded individuals in conjunction with Our Lady of The Lake and St. John Berchmans in the program "Encuentros". He wants to thank his family and friends for pushing him towards his goals and sees the very best in him!
