Dan Klarer* (Fritz Kobus)
Dan has been seen on Door County stages since 2006 and Third Avenue Playhouse has been a welcoming home. Past TAP shows include: Every Brilliant Thing, Isaac's Eye, Santaland Diaries, and Greater Tuna. Dan is based in Chicago, but has worked across America and internationally in the UK where he received his master's degree from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow. Drew Brhel* (Hippocrates Muller)
DREW BRHEL is very happy to return--even virtually--to Third Avenue Playhouse! Drew is something of a staple at TAP, having appeared in at least one production a summer there since the company's second season. Some favorite roles at TAP include Matt Friedman in TALLEY'S FOLLY, Billy in BILLY BISHOP GOES TO WAR, Mark Rothko in RED, Lou in Stella and LOU, Voltaire/Pangloss in CANDIDE, Weller Martin in THE GIN GAME, and various characters in LA, LA, LUCILLE. Lydia Rose Eiche (Trudi)
Equally at home in opera, musical theatre, and on the concert stage, Lydia has been praised for her “great warmth, intelligence and power.” She’s sung roles as diverse as Pamina in Zie Magic Flute and Yitzhak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. She’s performed with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Skylight Music Theatre, Milwaukee Opera Theatre, All In Productions, First Stage Children’s Theatre, Sunset Playhouse, Waukesha Civic Theatre, Soulstice Theatre, Haylofters, Boulevard Theatre, Capital City Theatre, Plymouth Chorale, and Fresco Opera Theatre. Michael Penick (Karl Oppe)
Michael Penick is grateful to be back at TAP with this virtual production! Michael was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa. He studied music at Luther College (BA) and The University of Iowa (MA). He previously played the title role in TAP’s production of Candide. Anna Cline (Rudi)
Anna is delighted to be back with TAP (even virtually!) where she was last seen as Paquette in Candide. Other regional theater credits include Northern Sky Theater, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, and Milwaukee Chamber Theatre. Anna would like to thank James, Bob, and everyone else at TAP, for creating a space where we can all meet to keep theater alive during this distanced time.
Alex Sabin (Paul Pretzel)
ALEX M. SABIN is a graduate of UW-Stevens Point and works at the Broadway Theatre of De Pere as an event manager and bartender. He also operates as an acting/performance instructor with Studio12. His passions have allowed him to share the stage with several Green Bay companies, such as Theatre Z, NEWDO, and St. Norbert College Music Theatre. He is excited to be a part of TAP's revival project and thankful for the loving support of his family.
Debra Babich* (Hilda Kobus)
Debra makes her return engagement with T.A.P. in their "PlayWorks 2021" virtual play reading series, and is delighted to do so. T.A.P. audiences might remember her performances in their productions of "Madame Sherry," "The Fantasticks" and "House of Blue Leaves." Although she has appeared on a number of her hometown area stages of Milwaukee (​Skylight Music Theatre, Next Act Theatre, First Stage Children's Theatre)​, she has also performed both nationally (​New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, Actors' Theatre of Indiana)​ and internationally (The Classic Theater Company in Greece). She played a featured role in the independent film, "The College Girl." And, her voice has been heard around the world as various characters in "The Brinkman Adventures" radio series broadcasts. *Member Actors' Equity Association

Matt returns to TAP for the first time since 2017 and back to performing for the first time in over a year! TAP credits: Candide, Red. James Valcq* (Kriebel/Pulaski)
JAMES VALCQ is TAP’s co-Artistic Director and an aficionado of early American musical theatre. On our own stage, James created the cavalcade of early Irving Berlin music I Love a Piano and created a new performing edition of the 1910 musical comedy Madame Sherry. In 2019, James unveiled his restoration of George Gershwin’s long-lost first Broadway musical La La Lucille. Following this tradition, James now turns his eyes to the little-known musical theatre scene that flourished in the midwest in the early years of the 20th century with this musical by Tin Pan Alley giant Harry Von Tilzer. *Member Actors' Equity Association
Lanja Andriamihaja (Christina)
Lanja Andriamihaja is a Minnesotan born and raised actress studying Musical Theatre at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. Lanja has appeared in the university’s productions of Heathers: The Musical, Clown Bar, and Mamma Mia! In 2016, she was a recipient of the Hennepin Theatre Trust - Spotlight Education Program’s award for “Outstanding Performance by a Lead”. Lanja was last seen by TAP audiences as Della in Gifts of the Magi.
Tess Bents (Lina)
Tess is grateful for the opportunity to participate in The Kissing Girl in a time when theatre artists are itching for chances to collaborate together again. A recent graduate of UW-Stevens Point with a BFA in Acting and resident of Chicago, some of her favorite roles have included Mrs. Jennings in Sense and Sensibility, Weyard Sister in Macbeth, and Effy in The Spitfire Grill.
