About TMS 2025 MUSICAL - SEUSSICAL JR.

The show is a magical mash-up of several classic Dr. Seuss stories, centering on Horton the Elephant, who hears a tiny sound coming from a small dust speck. He soon discovers that the speck is home to the microscopic world of Whoville, where the Whos live! Horton vows to protect the Whos, declaring, "A person's a person, no matter how small." His journey takes him from the Jungle of Nool to the circus, as he is joined by unforgettable characters like The Cat in the Hat (our mischievous narrator), the sweet Gertrude McFuzz, and the bold Sour Kangaroo.

  • For Families with Young Children: This is an excellent introduction to live musical theatre! The show is bright, fast-paced, and filled with catchy songs and familiar characters. The shorter runtime (due to the "Jr." adaptation) makes it perfect for younger attention spans!
  • For Students/Peers: Come support your classmates! The production showcases the incredible talent, hard work, and creativity of the TMS theatre program!
  • For Fans of Classic Theatre & Literature: This musical weaves together multiple Seuss narratives—including Horton Hears a Who!, The Cat in the Hat, and Gertrude McFuzz—into one coherent, touching story about loyalty, friendship, and community!

Come and experience the fun, the music, and the heart of the world's most imaginative doctor!
