STL Rhythm Collaborative

STL Rhythm Collaborative is honored to be a Professional Company In-Residence at Missouri Baptist University. This means that MBU students directly benefit from additional educational opportunities and internships, and work in professional production roles before they even graduate! MBU is one of the only universities in the area that provides this opportunity to performing arts students.
STLRC is home to two professional ensembles: moSTLy TAP, featuring some of the region’s most accomplished tap dancers, and moSTLy JAZZ, a dynamic group of musicians providing live accompaniment for performances. Through high-quality training, workshops, and its nationally recognized annual festival, STLRC offers exceptional educational experiences led by both its resident artists and internationally renowned guest faculty.
STLRC’s ensembles have earned both local and national recognition, with highlights including performances at the Chicago Human Rhythm Project’s Rhythm World festival (2022), a feature in Dance Magazine’s “Top 25 to Watch” (2023), and participation in the inaugural “Top 25 To Watch Live” showcase in New York City.
The organization’s Pre-Professional Youth and Student Programs offer intensive training and performance opportunities for young dancers across the Midwest who are eager to deepen their skills and engage with the tap community.
