Charles (Friar Lawrence)

Charles Sciarrino is so excited to be playing as Friar Lawrence in his seventh production in the Academy’s Drama Program! He holds leadership in Something Musical, Staten Island Junior Giving Circle Club, and Extra Help Club. He also plays on our Varsity Swim and Varsity Golf teams. His previous shows in the program have been Once Upon a Mattress, Know Your Role, Peter and the Starcatcher, Into the Woods, Emma: A Pop Musical, and Mean Girls. He thanks all of you for coming, Weiss for all of his hard work, and his family for all of their support. Enjoy the show! Mary (Nurse)

Mary is in 12th grade and has been going to Staten Island Academy for 8 years. In Romeo and Juliet, she plays the Nurse. She has been a part of previous SIA productions, including Emma: A pop Musical and Once Upon A Mattress. Additionally, Mary plays on the Girls Varsity Volleyball in the fall season. She is also the president of the GSA club and the President of the Animation Club. She would like to give a big thank you to Mr. Weissman as well as the cast and crew for an amazing production! Ben (Capulet)

Ben is in the 12th grade and has been attending for 13 years. This is Ben's 7th show at the Academy and he is carrying on a proud family tradition. He has loved being on tech crew in the past and he is looking forward to his return to the stage. Ben wants to thank his parents, his sisters and Mr. Weissman for their unfailing support.
