Quinn Dougherty (Lieutenant Frank Cioffi)
Briana Bottorf (Niki Harris)Bri is thrilled to be performing in her second SCCT show! She has been performing since childhood and is so excited to be on the stage again. Favorite past roles include: Mayzie La Bird (Seussical), Amy March (Little Women), and The Baker's Wife (Into the Woods). In her free time, she enjoys going on long walks, enjoying overpriced coffee, and traveling as much as possible. One day she hopes to win Jeopardy!, marry rich, or become the President of the United States. Thank you to the amazing cast and crew for a wonderful production!
Erin Hanses (Georgia Hendricks)Erin Hanses originally hails from Long Island, NY and is excited to be performing in her first SCCT production. Favorite past roles include: Peggy Sawyer (42nd Street), Sally Bowles (Cabaret), Penny Pingleton (Hairspray), and Lily St. Regis (Annie). Locally in State College, Erin has taught tap, jazz, and lyrical for the Central PA Dance Workshop and currently sings with the State College Choral Society and the Cantores Convallis chamber choir. Some of you may better know her, however, as a professor of Classics and Ancient Mediterranean Studies and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Penn State. She would like to thank the production team, cast, and crew for their talent and warm welcome, and most especially her husband Mathias, and her two children Mathew and Bonnie, for their unending support of her performance endeavors!
Jackie Gianico (Carmen Bernstein)Jackie is delighted to be a part of this insanely fun show! She has performed since catching the acting bug in 2012, appearing with SCCT, Sock & Buskin, The Next Stage, Tyrone Community Players, Love and Light Productions, and Nittany Theatre at the Barn. Most recently, she made her directorial debut at the Speakeasy with Sock & Buskin’s Motherhood Out Loud. Favorite past credits: Cheryl in Evil Dead: The Musical, Madame Arcati in Blythe Spirit, and Elsa in The Sound of Music. She is a member of Happy Valley Improv, performing at the Blue Brick Theatre in downtown State College. This past season, Jackie joined State College Choral Society, singing under director Erik Clayton. By day, Jackie teaches international students writing and public speaking at Penn State. You can also find her leading sip-and-paints at the Arena Bar & Grill. Since 2022, being Jack’s mom has been her favorite role.
Dillan Brown (Aaron Fox)Dillan is a Master's student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania. He is a Behavioral Health Specialist for Hummingbird ABA Therapy and lives in Bellefonte. Originally from Dalmatia, Dillan returned to the State College area in 2023 after completing his undergrad at Penn State in 2022. He has been performing with SCCT since Spring 2024 and is involved with the State College Choral Society and Centre County PAWS.
Rod Egan (Sidney Bernstein)When Rod is not detecting art forgeries or hang gliding at Hyner View State Park, he leads a quiet life with wife Beth and two inherited aging border collies.
Though otherwise retired, he is senior grass height maintenance technician
at the Egan estate in Oak Hall. This show begins Rod's 17th year of acting in community theater.
Jared Kehler (Christopher Belling)
Cassandra Poorman (Bambi Bernet)Cassandra can’t believe this is already her 6th show with SCCT. She is overjoyed to be a part of this wacky murder mystery musical and to get the chance to sing and dance across the stage once more. Previously, she has played Liesl in SCCT’s production of The Sound of Music, Aggie in The Game’s Afoot, Shiloh in Death of a Hot Sauce Salesman, and Tintinabula in Sock & Buskin’s production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. When not performing, Cassandra enjoys going on adventures and playing board games with her friends. More commonly though, you can find her whistling a little tune while she works at the State College Maurices .
Ted Schott (Oscar Shapiro)
This is Ted's second show with SCCT, last playing Titus A Drumm in Death of a Hot Sauce Salesman with many of the talented people also in tonight's show. Past parts have included Sky in Guys and Dolls, Linus in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar, Mookie in Dirty Work at the Crossroads, and quite a few others along the way. Work kept him away from the theater for a long time, so he's grateful to SCCT for the opportunity to play again, and to his family and especially his wife Debbie for putting up with the repeated lines at home!
Lance Wilkinson (Daryl Grady)J. Lance Wilkinson is happy to tread the boards once again. Prior appearances include "Annie Get Your Gun", "Gypsy", "The Wedding Singer", "9 to 5 The Musical", "Footloose", "The Sound of Music", "As You Like It", "Murder Me Always", "Murd-ARR!!! Pirates of the Salty Dog", "Dead Tuesday", "Clue on Stage", "The Blitz Sisters", "All My Murders", "Honeymoon From Hell" and "Murder at the Renaissance Faire", all with State College Community Theatre; "A Man For All Seasons" and "Mama Mia!" with Nittany Theatre; "Cutthroat Christmas", "The Final Rose", "The Will To Kill", "Rehearsal for Murder", "Cutthroat Christmas: Deadly Deals", "A Fox On The Fairway" and "Wheel of Misfortune" with Sock & Buskin, "Arthur and Merlin", and "Mary and Elizabeth: A Conversation" for Jerry Sawyer, and in several PSU Student Films. Thanks to Vija for indulging him yet again, and for the support from family and friends and the welcoming and growing State College theatre community.
Jonah Downs (Johnny Harmon)Curtains is Jonah's first musical and second production with SCCT! He has previously acted in Death of a Hot Sauce Salesman (W.C. DuKane) with SCCT and at Boiling Springs High School with such plays as A Midsummer Night's Dream (Lysander), Twelfth Night (Malvolio) and Funny Girl (Eddie Ryan). When he's not onstage, he can be found singing on his own, going to trivia nights, or gaming with friends. Jonah currently works as a Software Engineer and graduated from IUP with a major in Computer Science. Special thanks to mom and dad, family, and friends who came to watch!
Jordan DeVault (Jessica Cranshaw/Harv)Jordan highly values eccentricity and versatility. That’s why by day, she works as a research engineer at Penn State, but by night she is an instrumentalist, equestrian, weightlifter, and ultramarathoner. Musically, Jordan plays French horn in the State College Area Municipal Band and the Windsome Quintet, and plays guitar at Cedar Heights Church. Athletically, she rides dressage, weightlifts, and competes in triathlons, half-marathons and ultramarathons, and practices martial arts. In season, Jordan also likes kayaking, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, fishing, and hunting. Jordan is excited to join the cast of Curtains!
Angela Steco (Randy Dexter/Arlene Barruca)Angela is thrilled to be a part of her second show with SCCT! Previously, you may have seen her as Sister Margaretta in The Sound of Music. Angela is a proud 2013 Penn State Alum and is happy to now call Happy Valley her home. You may also recognize her voice weekdays 2-7pm on 93.7 3WZ or on the court with Penn State Basketball. Angela would like to thank her amazing family and friends for always supporting her side quests. Special shout out to her friends at the Centre County United Way and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Amelia Blevins (Jane Setler)Amelia is excited to participate in her second production with SCCT! Amelia's passion for music and theater is long-standing. She enjoys being a part of community theater almost as much as her job at the Penn State Library's Conservation Centre where she preserves books and archival materials. In her downtime, you can find Amelia sewing, roller skating, painting, hiking, and spending time with her furry soulmate, Fern the little gray cat.
Ana Wakeman (Connie Subbotin)Grew up in the Hudson Valley, NY, got her BA in Theatre and Communications at Ithaca College, and relocated to Happy Valley in 2017 after getting her Masters in Theology. Ana is an avid reader, and sells used books under the name Happy Valley Book Lady. She's been involved with SCCT since 2022. When not on stage, you can find her wandering used (and new) book stores, walking her beloved pup around Boalsburg, or restocking her bookshelf at Belle Mercantile. Enjoy the show!
Emma Rand (Ronnie Driscoll)Emma is so excited to join the ensemble of Curtains! This is her second theater experience and her first production since moving to the area. She fell in love with theater as a kid and is thrilled to be back on stage helping bring this lively show to life. A special thank you to her parents for instilling in her a love and appreciation for live theater.
Rob Burns (Bobby Pepper)Rob has been performing on stage for over 25 years, playing lead roles in plays and musicals through public school and Susquehanna University, with Stone Arch Players for 12 years, the Mifflin County Christmas Musical for 4 years, and now as President and Board Member of State College Community Theater for the last 7 years. He also has served on the judges panel of The River Valley Idol competition since 2015. Rob is Manufacturing Support Specialist at BK Medical in State College, where he has worked for 19 years. He lives in Reedsville with his wife Kerry and daughter, Amelia.
