Mamma Mia! Cast

Kate Morton (Donna Sheridan )
Kate Morton is a junior at Stamford High School. She is so excited to be playing Donna in Stamford High’s production of "Mamma Mia!" Some of her previous products have been, "Legally Blonde" (Elle) with All School Musical 2023, "Mean Girls" (Cady) with ACANY 2023, "The Prom" (Shelby) with Stamford High School 2023, "Heathers" (Heather McNamara) with ACANY 2022, Nutcracker (snow queen), "Nutcracker" (Clara), and "Sound of Music" (Gretl) at Rippowam Middle School 2019. Kate has been a dancer for 14 years, studying tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, contemporary, límon, and hip hop. Kate wants to thank Tommy, Stephen, Ms.Dunn, Caitlin, and Jerold for this amazing opportunity and all of her cast mates for making this an amazing experience!
Cooper Toland (Sophie Sheridan )
Cooper is super excited to to play Sophie in "Mamma Mia!" This her 3rd year with the Strawberry Hill Players and is so proud of everyone’s hard work! Some shows from her pervious years at SHP include "Peter and the Starcatcher" (Molly Aster), "The Prom" (Alyssa Greene), Senior Scenes 2023 (Kayla), "Steel Magnolias" (Annelle), "Curtains" (Featured Dancer), and Senior Scenes (Sandrine)! She would like to thank Tommy, Stephen, Miss Dunn, and Jerold and Caitlin for being so supportive during the process! Finally, she would like to congratulate her fellow cast mates for putting on such an incredible show and thank the crew for all their hard work and goodbye to all the wonderful seniors (i love you guys)!
Hayden Katz (Tonya )
Hayden, a junior at Stamford High, is excited to be playing Tonya in "Mamma Mia!" Hayden received her theater education at Professional Performing Arts School in NYC. Her past performances include "The Prom" (Deedee Allen), Senior Scenes (#25), "Something Rotten" (Bea Bottom), "Curtains" (Featured dancer and U/S Bambi), "High School Musical" (Sharpay), "Frozen" (Elsa), "Sound of Music" (Maria), "Fiddler on The Roof" (Chava), and numerous cabarets. Besides theater, Hayden is captain of the SHS Debate team, a Stamford Hospital volunteer, and director of her own tutoring program! Hayden wants to thank her family, friends and vocal coach for supporting her! She also wants to thank Tommy, Stephen, Jerold, Caitlin, Ms.Dunn, and this fantastic cast for this amazing experience!!!
Ava Wagner-Nast (Rosie )
Ava Wagner-Nast is a senior at Stamford High School, and this will be her 10th and final show with the Strawberry Hill Players. She was recently Susan in The "Prom", Wendy in "BABBA", Sherry in "Our Place", seen in "Curtains" and "Its A Wonderful Life" and performed in 3 Cabarets as well as Annie in Put On A Happy Face. Ava has performed In five Stamford All-School Musicals: "The Wizard Of Oz", "Willy Wonka", "Matilda", "All Together Now" and "Legally Blonde" (Paulette). She has also performed in ten OAA musicals: "Annie", "Frozen", "Mary Poppins" (Bird Woman) "The Last Five Years" (Cathy), "Clue", "Christmas Carol", "Cinderella" (Fairy Godmother), "Anne of Green Gables", "Matilda" and "The Wizard Of Oz" (Glinda).
Leo Field (Sam Carmichael)
A senior at Stamford High, Leo is beyond excited to be performing in his eleventh show with the Strawberry Hill Players. Past shows include "Willy Wonka" (Charlie Bucket), "Something Rotten!" (Nigel Bottom), "Put On A Happy Face" (Soloist/Ensemble), "Curtains" (Bobby Pepper), "The Prom" (Trent Oliver), and "Peter and the Starcatcher" (Black Stache) with the SHP. Leo is captain of the improv team, is on the SHS debate and SPS mock trial teams, is secretary of the student council, president of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, and a member of the National Honor Society. He also co-hosts the political podcast Weekly Political Pep Talks! He’d like to thank the cast, crew, and everyone else who helped make "Mamma Mia!" happen!
Michael Faherty (Harry Bright )
Michael is a junior at SHS who's thrilled to be in his 3rd Spring Musical! His past productions include ASM’s "Willy Wonka" & "Matilda"(Featured Kid), "Something Rotten!" (Brother Jeremiah), "Legally Blonde" (Kyle), as well as the Strawberry Hill Players’ performances of "BABBA" (Agent & Criminal), "Curtains" (Daryl Grady), Senior Scenes XXIV (Mr. Martin), and "The Prom" (Nick). Michael is the Drama Instructor at the Italian Center Day Camp and is an Eagle Scout of Troop 11. Additionally, he is the Junior Class President and a captain of the Ski Team. He would like to thank Tommy, Stephen, Caitlin, Jerold, Ms. Dunn, and the rest of the crew and production team for making "Mamma Mia" an unforgettable experience!
Connor Armstrong (Bill Austin )
Connor Armstrong (Bill) is a junior at Stamford High and is so thankful to be apart of "Mamma Mia!" Past productions he has stared in with SHP has been featured dancer in "The Prom"! and Alf in "Peter and the Starcatcher". Connor would like to thank the amazing crew and cast for an excellent show!
Sabina Farley (Ali )
Sabina Farley (Ali) is excited to be back for her seventh SHP production. Sabina has been acting in the theatre since age 6, when she performed in the "Wizard of Oz", as a member of the Lullaby League. Some of her previous performances include, "You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown" (Schroeder) "Pippin" (Theo) "Matilda" (Alice) "Sound of Music" (Marta Von Trapp) "Suessical" (Sour Kangaroo) "Kiss me Kate" (Hattie) "Beauty and the Beast" (Belle) Her last performance was the “Legally Blonde” for All School Musical. She would like to thank Tommy, Stephen, Mrs. Dunn, Caitlin, and Jerold and the entire cast and crew for making this an amazing experience!
Mia Carizzo  (Lisa )
Mia is an 11th grader at Stamford High School . She is very excited to have been casted in "Mamma Mia!" Previous productions include "Les Miserables" (Young Eponine and Towns Girl), "It’s a Wonderful Life" (Zuzu), "Miracle on 34th Street" (Susan), "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (Candy man kid, Oompa Loompa), "The Sound of Music" ( Louisa Von Trapp, Sister Berthe), "Matilda" (Ensemble), "Footloose" (Arial Moore), "The Prom" (Teen Ensemble). "Legally Blonde" (Ensemble). Mia has sang in a cabaret at the historic Traid Theatre in New York City. She has walked on the runway in New York fashion week. She has also appeared in many print ads for numerous major companies. Big thanks to the cast and crew for their hard work and dedication.
Mateo Daniels (Sky )
Mateo Daniels, a junior at SHS, is thrilled to be part of this school's production of "Mamma Mia!", where he plays the role of Sky. Joining the Strawberry Hill Players last year, Mateo’s theater experience includes performances in Senior Scenes and SHIP, our own improv troupe. However, this is his first musical with SHP. As someone with a deep-rooted passion for music, and a huge ABBA fan, Mateo is super excited to bring his energy to the stage in this beloved musical!
Shaun Daral  (Pepper )
Shaun Daral is an 11th grader and is excited to be a part of this year's spring musical, "Mamma Mia!" This is his first production with the Strawberry Hill Players, and he is looking forward to playing the role of Pepper. Outside of SHP, he enjoys listening to music and is a member of the Asian Heritage Club. Shaun would like to thank Tommy, Stephen, Jerold, Caitlin, Mrs. Dunn, and the cast and crew for making the show possible. He would also like to thank his family and friends for motivating him to always try new things. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Sebastian Colfer (Eddie)
Sebastian Colfer (Ensemble/Eddie) is a sophomore at Stamford High School. He's been in several recent productions such as "The Addams Family" with Curtain Call SYT (Ancestor/Grandpa Munster), "Peter and the Starcatcher" with the Strawberry Hill Players (Ted), and "Legally Blonde" with the Stamford All School Musical (Ensemble/Nikos). He is also a member of S.H.I.P, the improv club here at Stamford High. Sebastian is incredibly excited to be in his second Spring Musical with the Strawberry Hill Players, and he's excited to share this experience with all his friends!
Joa Field (Father Alexandrios)
Joa is a sophomore at Stamford High and is extremely excited to be in his second show with SHP. Joa was in the ensemble of "The Prom!" last year here at SHP and is thrilled to be back with the club. In his free time, Joa loves to play soccer and take naps. Joa would like to thank his family and friends along with the entire cast and crew of Mamma Mia for supporting him and making this show possible!
Beverlyn Lopez  (Featured Dancer/Singer)
Beverlyn is currently a Junior at Stamford High School and is very thrilled to be performing in her first Stamford High production! Her clubs at school include student council, SHS for Tully, drama, and cancer awareness. Besides theater, she loves singing, traveling, and hanging out with friends. She has been involved with many other shows. She would like to thank the cast, crew, and production team!
Keyli Maldonado (Featured Dancer/Singer)
Keyli Maldonado is very excited to be a part of this year’s spring musical, "Mamma Mia" for her senior year. Some past shows include “It’s a Wonderful Life” (Violet Peterson), SHS’ Senior Scenes both her freshman and sophomore year, “A Piece of My Heart” (Whitney), and "Curtains" (Joanie Harmon), and "Peter and the Starcatcher" (Lord Leonard Aster). This is her fourth year with SHP, and she is very excited to be SHP’s secretary this year. Some of her hobbies including listening to boygenius, making friendship bracelets, and buying obnoxiously priced lattes. She would like to thank her friends, family, and the rest of SHP for the wonderful experiences she’s had so far.
Sanaa Sharma (Featured Dancer/Singer)
Sanaa Sharma (Featured Singer) is a senior at AITE working on her first show! She has performed in talent shows and restaurants before and is now performing in "Mamma Mia!". Sanaa would like to thank her cast for welcoming her, and her friends and family for supporting her through this show!
Adele Samsonas (Featured Dancer/Singer)
Adele Samsonas is a junior at SHS and is grateful to be apart of "MAMMA MIA!" On the stage since 7 years old, she has always had love for singing, dancing, and acting. Some of Adele's past productions include "The Little Mermaid" (Sebastian), "Annie" (Miss Hannigan), "The Addams Family" at TCHS (2020) and ND Fairfield (2022), Senior Scenes XXIV (Natalie, Bright Eyes), "The Prom" (Angie Dickinson), "Peter & The Starcatcher" (Bill Slank/Fighting Prawn), and "Legally Blonde" (Delta Nu). Outside of theater, she plays volleyball. She would like to thank Tommy, Stephen, Jerold, Caitlin, Miss Dunn, cast, and crew for this amazing production, as well as family, Brian Bianco, Mr. Chuba, Karen Randazzo, Mrs. Crilly, and Miss Ruth Rolander for helping to get her where she always wanted to be.
Elysia Ring-Howell (Featured Dancer/Singer)
Elysia is in 11th grade and is so excited to be Featured Ensemble in Stamford High’s production of "Mamma Mia!" Along with shows here Elysia also performs and studies with Rising Star’s Performing Arts’ Joe Santaniello and Jessica Rae Foulds, and at MTC with Jim Shilling, Tracy Marble, and Kristine Bingham. Other favorite roles Elysia has done include Fiona in "Shrek Jr.", Raven Narrator in "Shuddersome Tales of Poe", and the 2nd Spirit in the "Magic Flute". Elysia thanks all her friends, family, and teachers who have supported her and fostered her love for theater and her talents and she hopes you enjoy the show.
Kaylee Deenihan (Featured Dancer)
Kaylee is a junior at Stamford High. As a member of the Strawberry Hill Players, she has been apart of many of the club’s performances including "Steel Magnolias", Senior Scenes and "The Prom". Kaylee has been in six All School Musical’s, including the most recent, "Legally Blonde". During the summer, Kaylee enjoys participating in SYT at Curtain Call, with her most recent performance being "The Addams Family". She is also a competitive dancer at Norwalk Academy of Dance, where she studies jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, and pointe. In her free time, she loves to run track. Kaylee would love to thank Tommy, Ms. Dunn, Caitlin, and Jerold for another amazing opportunity to be on stage and her parents for the time and support.
Jane Macnamara (Featured Dancer)
Jane McNamara (Featured Dancer) is in 11th grade at Stamford High School. This is her third production with SHP, previously being in PATSC (Prentiss) and "The Prom" (Teen Ensemble). This is one of her favorite musicals and she is so excited to put on this production of "Mamma Mia!" Outside of SHP, Jane attends dance classes at Rising Stars Performing Arts and enjoys going to concerts and broadway productions. She would like to thank Tommy, Stephen, Ms. Dunn, and the cast and production team for making this show possible! She would also like to thank RSPA, her friends, and her family for always supporting her!
Thamar Mercius  (Featured Dancer)
Thamar Mercius, 11th grader at SHS, brings her passion for musical theater to the stage. She has previously done "The Prom" and Senior Scenes, she now eagerly embraces the iconic "Mamma Mia!" as one of her top 10 musicals. Thamar extends heartfelt gratitude to the incredible cast, crew, Tommy and Ms. Dunn for their outstanding work during rehearsal.Her dedication and enthusiasm shine through, promising an electrifying contribution to the upcoming production. In and out of the spotlight, Thamar thank her family and friends for being amazing supporters.
Quincy Flores (Featured Dancer)
Quincy Flores (Featured Dancer) is in 11th grade and is excited to be joining the family of "Mamma Mia!"! This is his first ever show and wants to thank his friends and family for their love and support.
Pavla Smid (Featured Dancer)
Pavla Smid is a 10th grader at Stamford High School and is very excited to be apart of "Mamma Mia!" Pavla was in the All-School production of "Legally Blonde" as the role of cashier in 2023 and "Something Rotten!" in 2022 as the role of bard girl. She was in Dolan's musical "jukebox" as an 8th grader and had the role of Tracy in "Hairspray" and Sharpay from "High School Musical." She was also in Stamford High's play called Senior Scenes as well as improv club. Pavla is apart of the SHS dance team and does jazz and hip-hop at LPAC! She wants to thank her family and friends for their support through this process!
Sophia Truglio (Featured Dancer)
Sophia Truglio, A sophomore at Stamford High, is so excited to be a featured dancer in SHP’s production of “Mamma Mia!”. This is Sophia’s 4th show, as she has previously been in “Legally Blonde” (Ensemble), “Senior Scenes” (Flight attendant), and “The Prom!”. Sophia would like to thank the cast, crew, and production team for making this an unforgettable experience!
Juls Akramovich (Ensemble)
Juls Akramovich (Ensemble) is a SHS freshmen and is really excited to be apart of her first Muscial! She has only been in Senior scenes and has rarely gotten into theater. She is really glad she has found this community and club. She would like to thank her friends, clubmates, teachers, and directors. This show was so much fun and she cant wait to continue their acting journey!! xoxo
Parker Bamberger (Ensemble)
Parker Bamberger is a Freshman at Stamford High and is really excited to be in their very first musical, "Mamma Mia!". This is their first year in the club and have been in other shows in this past year, "Peter and the Star Catcher" and Senior Scenes. Parker would like to thank this wonderful cast and the production team for making this show so fun to be in and also putting so much work into the show so it can happen. Now Parker would also like to thank their family and friends for showing their support through this show, but also the past shows Parker has been in.
Ava Carney  (Ensemble)
Ava Carney is a sophomore here at Stamford High, and this is her second year with SHP! Ava was previously in the "The Prom" here at SHS, "The Addams Family" at Curtain Call, and "Legally Blonde" with the All School Musical. She also played the roles of Grempkin and Teacher in SHP’s production of "Peter and the Starcatcher"! This is her second year ever being in theatre and she hopes to continue for the rest of High School! Ava is apart of SHIP as well as the Stamford High band where she plays the clarinet, which she has been doing since 4th grade.
Skyla Johnson (Ensemble)
Skyla Johnson is in 10th grade and this is her 4th production of musical experience, she has done a musical in 8th grade at Dolan Middle School, 2 All School musicals, and now she is in "Mamma Mia!". "I'm very excited to be a part of this amazing cast - everyone is so talented and bright!" I would love to thank everyone for the opportunity to be in this production, and I hope to do even more down the road. I thank even more for the producers and my family for all their support! As of right now i'm currently participate in a program called "A sense of direction", at palace theatre. i hope it can help me learn to have leads, be a producer myself, learn more of BTS's as it promises. Life may be hard but i live it through my own song and story.
Ashley Lanza (Ensemble)
Ashley Lanza is in 9th grade and is thankful and thrilled to be a part of the "Mamma Mia" show. She takes acting class in New York City with the Barrow Group and dance at Locust Performing Arts Center. Just now she got into being in musicals and is going to appear in "Mamma Mia" as her first time in a musical. Ashley would like to thank Mrs. Dunn, Tommy and the rest who has worked hard to put this play in action. She would also like to give thanks for her friends and family for always supporting her.
Grace Lombardo (Ensemble)
Grace Lombardo (Ensemble) is an 11th grader at SHS. This is her first production with the Strawberry Hill Players. She is grateful for this opportunity to be a part of "Mamma Mia!" Grace did a few productions with the Crystal Theater in Norwalk. She appeared as Nora in "Pulaski Park Rules". She was also in "Ellis Island", as Susahana. In middle school, she was a part of "Willy Wonka" and "Matilda" with the Stamford All School musical. She was in "The Sound of Music" at Rippowam Middle School. In addition to acting, she loves art, Gymnastics, Dancing, and is a part of the Black Knights Varsity Cheerleading team. She would like to thank her family for their love and support.
Krystal Manalo (Ensemble)
Krystal Manalo is a sophomore at Stamford High School. This is her first year with the SHP and she is super excited for this musical! Krystal has previously been in the SHP production of "Peter and the Starcatcher" and Senior Scenes. She is very thankful for all of the wonderful people she has met this year.
Isabella Orrego (Ensemble)
Isabella is so ecstatic to show what she has to bring to "Mamma Mia!". She hopes her strong passion can shine through when she's on stage. Eager to share her joy and passion for musical theater, she is very honored to be part of the cast, delivering an unforgettable performance in this beloved production.
Navaehaliz Rivera (Ensemble)
Nevaehaliz Rivera (ensemble) Is a sophomore and she is so excited to be a part of "Mamma Mia!" This is her 3rd show in the drama and can’t to do more in the future. Nevaeh would like to thank everyone in the cast for being very supportive and helpful, she also wants to thank her family for always supporting and being there for her!
Royana Sangster (Ensemble)
