Register and pay tuition for this theatrical experience. Aspiring Actors and Stage / Design / Tech Crew Ages 6 to 18 will be cast in the production of Elf Jr the Youth Musical, to b e presented in November 2026 at the Allstate Community Theater 810 Caroline Street Fredericksburg.  (Auditions and Rehearsals will be held at the same location.)

The educational experience which starts with youth auditions on Thursday July 9 from 6pm to 8pm, Saturday July 11 from Noon to 2pm, and Sunday July 12 from 10am to Noon. Rehearsals will be scheduled immediately following the audition weekend, and run throughout the months of July, August, September, October, and November, ending in the presentation of a full length production the Weekends of November 13, 14, 15 and 20, 21, and 22. In the early months rehearsals will be three times per week, on a on call basis - based on characters in the scenes being rehearsed. Mid October the rehearsal schedule will be more often, up to 5 or 6 days any given pre-show week.  

Students will be required to attend professionally directed rehearsals designed to teach acting and performance skills, public speaking, and communications through live art, as well as stagecraft and crew services. Chaperoned childcare will be provided during the rehearsal and performance dates. Although not all cast members will be required at all rehearsal, those not called, are encouraged to still come for the learning experience. 

OPEN CASTING - All those who Register - WILL BE CAST. Auditions are held to determine which character or crew role each registrant will be trained in for the final production. This production has 11 to 20 primary cast members and then limited-speaking ensemble members fill out the program.

All participants will be asked to provide a B&W Digital Headshot and Personal Bio in a word document, no later than July 30.
