This presentation will permit for LIVE SHADOW CASTING of any audience member dressed like a character in the film.  Come and enjoy the fun!

In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O'Brien). Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named "Rocky.".

The Rocky Horror Picture Show live event is an immersive 50th-anniversary celebration (through 2026) featuring a screening of the cult classic film, accompanied by a live, energetic "shadow cast" performing on stage, audience participation, audiences are encouraged to dress as movie characters, and to play along in the call-back and prop action. It is a high-energy interactive experience rather than a passive movie screening.

Key Event Highlights

• Live Shadow Cast: Actors perform scenes simultaneously in front of the screen, mirroring the characters, often featuring specialized troupes like "Transvestite Soup".
• Audience Participation & Call-backs: Audience members are encouraged to shout classic lines, heckle the screen, and sing along.
• Costume Contest: Fans often dress as their favorite characters—Frank N. Furter, Magenta, Riff Raff, or Columbia. One Lucky Fan can win a Season Pass to 2026-2027 Productions.
• Prop Bags & Tradition: Audience members can purchase as an Add-On a venue approved Prop Bag, containing props from scenes, such as newspaper, rubber gloves, noise maker or bell, toilet paper, rice or popcorn, party hat, confetti poppers, playing cards, toast, and a direction sheet on when the audience should use them during the presentation.

• Rating: The show contains adult themes, sexual content, and strong language (Rated R).
• Etiquette: Unlike normal movies, noise and movement are fully encouraged. It is designed as a welcoming space for self-expression.
• Prop Policy: Outside props are often prohibited for safety reasons, with official prop kits are available for purchase. Buy in advance when reserving your tickets, to save.

DON'T BE CAUGHT OFF GUARD. Rocky Horror Picture Show - Shadow Casting is a cult phenomenon, where fandom comes into play, heavily.  If you have never been to a shadow cast presentation, you are considered a VIRGIN, and will most likely be called up on the stage to ‘Learn The Dance’, and ‘Pop Your Cherry’ - Don't be afraid - everyone loves virgins and you will be treated with the utmost respect and care.  

Many attendees come dressed as characters - You are encouraged to get your drag on, anyway you feel fit to do. The sexier the better when it comes to RHPS.  During the presentation of the cult classic film, you will discover that many in the audience will sing-a-long, or shout out what are known as ‘call-backs’ to specific scripted lines in the movie.  It is all part of the FanDom nature associated with RHPS.  In addition, there are moments in the presentation where everything goes four-dimensional, and audience members will throw things about the theater, as noted by lines scripted in the show.  Our concessions stand will be selling PARTICIPATION BAGS, which include essential items to enjoying this part of the production, if you desire. You can purchase Prop Bags online in advance when you buy your tickets, for a discount. The bags are not required to have fun, but can be quite the experience.  The cost is $10 for one, or two for $15 at the door. Online, in advance you can save $2. They go very fast, so buy one early.  The price is subject to change as the availability lessens.
