A Christmas Carol Cast

Richard Hamilton (Ebenezer Scrooge)
Rick Hamilton’s acting addiction has taken him to many places; performing as far away as Saipan, off Broadway, in daytime-dramas (don’t call them soaps), and on film in New York City, as well as live theater in Pasadena and Los Angeles. He has worked closer to home with Stage Door Productions in “Inherit the Wind.” Rick is a retired member of the Screen Actors Guild and played a lead role in, according to critics, one of the worst movies ever made, “Beware Children at Play.” Rick warns friends to watch that movie at their own risk. In television, he taught math for a PBS series. Rick is most at home on stage and this is where he is one more time – lucky for all of us. Richard says, “This is my third year playing Scrooge, I came back for two reasons: first, to try to more fully realize and do justice to this very complex character, and second, to have the chance to work with my son, Maximilian, for the first time on stage.”
Ray Manfredi (Narrator)
An award winning actor, Ray started his acting career when he was only 8 years old. Performing on and off Broadway, in television and movies, as well as community theaters wherever he has taken up residency. He is also a Comedy Writer, Stand-up Comedian, Playwright and Director.

An accomplished singer, he formed the Show Stoppers singing group in 2020, specializing in big Broadway musical numbers. He is delighted to join the cast of A Christmas Carol, thanks to Ray and Cathy! David has recently taken on the Role as Artistic Director for Stage Door Productions. He is currently selecting our 2025 season. So his is the ear you need to whisper your dream shows in.
Tuan Pham (Gentleman#2, Tut, John, Fred's Guest#1)
Thanks to his son, Tai, joining the cast, Tuan has added the role of stage dad to his collection of hats gained throughout his life. As his wife, Alisha, and daughter, Quynh, have noted, this show has given Tuan the chance to finally put all those voices, created over years of bedtime stories, to good use! He would like to dedicate his performance to his family, who knows how much it killed him to sing Christmas carols before Halloween in preparation for this show. Tuan tends to add lib most of his role as John, so if you come to more than one show, you will see a different John each time.

Echo Bartholomew (Ghost of Christmas Past, Fred's Guest#2)

Tai Pham (BelleChild#2, Tiny Tim, Caroler#15)
After a not-so-shy turn as Tiny Tim in last year’s A Christmas Carol, Tai returns to reprise his role, as well as others. Recently Tai also performed as Charles Wallace as part of Stage Door's A Wrinkle in Tai, oops, we meant Time. Whether Tai is on stage or at home, he is always the performing, finding ways to make his mom (Alisha), and sister (Quynh) giggle, or saving his dad (Tuan), from being an absolutely boring adult, Tai can’t help but put a little extra joy into the lives of others. He is one of the few child actors that can truly ad-lib and has a sense of where the scene needs to go, at any given moment. Look out for this child actor - you will be seeing a lot more of him, not just here, but a long acting career ahead. Get photos and autographs now - trust us - they will be collectible.

Liam Thompson (Ghost of Christmas Present, Undertaker)
Liam is a student at Germanna Community College and acts on the side for fun. Some past roles he has had are Tito Merelli in Lend me a Tenor and Scrooge in A Christmas Carol with another theater group. He played Colonel Mustard in a High School Play, and then with Stage Door, most recently, where he had the audience on the floor laughing at his portrayal of the bumbling Colonel Mustard. Taking on this role, as such a formidable Ghost is proving to be a lot of fun, for this talented comedic actor. Liam keeps the cast in stiches during rehearsal, as no one ever knows what will he say or do next. Every so often the Director has to just let Liam be Liam, for about five minutes, and then it is back to the script, all the happier for his antics. Liam has recently taken on a role with Stage Door Leadership, working as an advisor in our Youth Program.
Emontae Davis (Arguing Man#1, Businessman#1, Caroler#17)

Kenneth Edwards Jr (Arguing Man#2, Businessman#2, Caroler#18)
Kenneth is thrilled to be a part of the cast in the production of A Christmas Carol, working once again with the director of his previous first time performance as the Motorist in Stage Door's ‘Clue’. Known for his comedic timing and natural talent for making people laugh, Kenneth brings his unique sense of humor to the stage. This marks his second appearance in a community theater production, and he is eager to showcase his acting abilities. Currently a 10th grader at Colonial Forge High School, Kenneth has always had a passion for performing arts. Whether it's fine-tuning his comedic skills or exploring dramatic acting, he consistently seeks opportunities to grow as an actor. In addition to acting, he also has a deep love for skating, spending countless hours perfecting his tricks at the local skating rink. In this production he has the added benefit of working along side his brother.
