Godspell Cast

This is Yamil's 4th production here at St. Monica's. He loves theatre so much and has been involved in his school's theatre programs for 6 years now. This will be his first time playing a lead role and he is so excited for you all to see and enjoy the show! :)

Leila is a senior at Saint Monica and this is her seventh production. Leila enjoys being on stage and backstage. She is excited to be playing the role of Judas and owes it all to Mr. Holmes.

After nearly 4 years, it's time for another performance here at SMPREP! After Max's featuring as the role of David Copperfield/The Cop in Just Another High School Play, Rerun in Charlie Brown, Chief of the Police in CLUE, the Mysterious Man in Into The Woods, Giles Corey in The Crucible, and his most recent role of Pete in Almost, Maine, this is Max's 8th production at SMPREP. He and the other mariners of the VPA look forward to seeing you enjoy our show!

This is Alex’s final production at St. Monica. He has been a part of every production since his freshman year. He has worked in various roles, going from curtain-opener, to stage crew, to set builder, to set designer, to assistant director, and eventually actor. He was cast as Damien in Mean Girls and East in Almost, Maine. He loves this department and the people in it, and is going to miss it so much after graduation. He wishes all the luck to the rest of the VPA people for the future!

This is Mateo's 4th production at Saint Monica and his second in the cast. He is really excited to participate in his first ever musical and hopes to make you laugh.

This is Josie's seventh and final production at Saint Monica, and she couldn't be more excited. She has previously worked on cast and crew for both plays and musicals, as well as being involved in choir and the film department. She is so grateful to her teachers and friends who made her VPA experience so incredible over the past four years, as well as her family for supporting her. She hopes you enjoy the show!

This is Ryan’s first production at Saint Monica’s, and second high school production ever! She’s always loved performing and is so glad to get the opportunity to share her passion with any audience before her.

Natalia Green is in her third year here and Godspell is her fifth St. Monica production, having been in Mean Girls and Almost, Maine previously. This will be her fifteenth show overall and she hopes that you enjoy it!

Scarlett Shelton is a junior at Saint Monica Preparatory. She is thrilled to be a part of Godspell. It has been a wonderful experience collaborating with the cast and crew to bring the production to life. She feels honored and privileged to be cast in her fourth Saint Monica Prep production under Mr. Holmes. Scarlett is a member of the Saint Monica Concert choir and chamber. Has been a member of National Children’s Chorus for seven years and is currently a member of their Premier Ensemble. She looks forward to partaking in future Saint Monica productions as she completes her Academic career!!!

Oceana Jablon is an 11th grader at Saint Monica Preparatory and this is her 6th production here. Enjoy the show!

Laura recently transferred to Saint Monica Prep, and she is really excited to be a part of the theatre program. This is Laura's 7th musical show, including prior solo roles in Godspell and Matilda. Outside of St. Monica Prep, Laura performs with the grammy award winning National Children's chorus. This semester Laura will perform with NCC at Carnegie Hall and in a joint performance with the LA Master Chorale at Disney Concert Hall. Laura also sang on NCCs published Holiday album, Illumine, recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London. Laura takes voice lessons with Dr. Pamala Blackstone, a conductor of the National Children's chorus.

This is Madelyn's fourth production at SMPREP. She was in the cast of Mean Girls and the Crew of Almost Maine where she was ASM. She loves musical theatre especially and is very excited for this years production.

This is Christian's 4th production at St. Monica. He has previously been a part of tech crew and was the Narrator in Into the Woods his sophomore year. He loves participating in theater in all ways and is happy to play a part in Godspell for his senior year. He hopes you enjoy the show!

This is Carlie’s thirteenth production in her theater career and this production being her 4th production at St. Monica. Carlie is in Mr. Holmes’s acting class and concert choir. She is really proud of the cast and crew and is so happy to be apart of Godspell.

This is Cassidy’s 5th production at St. Monicas but 2nd time being in the cast. She has previously been a part of costume and makeup crew, but she loves dancing in the shows. Cassidy is also a part of the cheerleading team, pre-med club, and ASB. She hopes you enjoy the show!

This is Nicole's 7th performance at Saint Monica. While she is a senior now, she has been acting since 5th grade and has loved every second of it. She is in Concert and Chamber choir, Drama club president, ASB Commissioner of VPA, and Key Club President. Even though she is sad that this is her last production at Saint Monica, she is so happy that she gets to perform with such a talented group of people.

Ivie is a junior at Saint Monica, this is his 6th production and he is very exited and privileged to be a part of this Godspell cast.
