About Mean Girls

"Mean Girls" explores the challenges and complexities of forming relationships, the need for acceptance, and the pain that can come with betrayal.  The musical doesn't shy away from the reality of bullying. It explores how individuals cope with power imbalances and peer pressure, while highlighting the importance of standing up for oneself and others.  The characters in "Mean Girls" are all trying to find their place in the social hierarchy of high school. They grapple with their identities and often put on facades. Throughout the story, characters make mistakes and learn from them. Just like real life, they must confront their flaws and grow from their experiences. Ultimately, the musical emphasizes the importance of kindness and inclusivity. It encourages us to be more understanding and compassionate towards one another, breaking down the barriers that can divide us.
