The Laramie Project Cast

Ken Altman (Ensemble)
Ken Altman is truly honored to be a part of this production. A Lifetime Member of The Players, he was seen last year as Charles W. Browning III in 45 Seconds from Broadway. Ken’s favorite roles include Eugene (Biloxi Blues), Lenny (Rumors), Juror #8 (Twelve Angry Men), and Inspector Stewart (Pack of Lies). He and his better half, Tracey (see below), are a St. Bart’s romance and have been a couple for over 30 years. In his free time, Ken volunteers at the Central Park Zoo.
Tracey Altman (Ensemble)
Tracey Altman is honored to be in this production led by Emily along side many new and old talented friends. Her favorite roles include Rayleen in 45 Seconds from Broadway, Queen in Once Upon a Mattress, Truvy in Steel Magnolias, Ella in Bells are Ringing, and Nurse Ratched in Cuckoo’s Nest. Tracey is also a SBP Lifetime Member and Co-Chair. Miss you & love you, Louis. Love always to her husband, Ken, for his amazing support.
Anika Arora (Ensemble)
Anika Arora (she/her) is honoured to be a part of this production. She made her debut at St. Bart's last spring in 45 Seconds from Broadway as Megan Woods. Her favourite roles include Almost Maine (Rhonda), Matilda the Musical (Agatha Trunchbull), and The Tempest (Prospero). A big thank you to the cast and crew of The Laramie Project for making this production possible, and all the love, always, to mama, papa, and Aaish!
Joe Gambino (Ensemble)
Treasurer and proud Lifetime Member of SBP. 45 Seconds from Broadway, And Then There Were None, Peter and the Starcatcher; You Can’t Take It With You; Don’t Dress for Dinner; …Cuckoo’s Nest; Our Town; The Crucible; Pack of Lies; Joseph… Dreamcoat; Twelve Angry Men; 1776; Rumors; Brigadoon; Morning's at Seven; and staged readings of Present Laughter (also Dir.), The Laramie Project and It’s a Wonderful Life. Joe is creator/performer of the YouTube comedy series, A Cup o’ Bitter Joe. For Matthew, Nex and all our other beautiful kids who should still be here with us.
Melanie Gertzman (Ensemble)
Melanie (she/her) is honored to be back onstage at St. Bart's Players after making her debut last fall in Pippin! Other favorite shows include Into the Woods (Little Red), Christmas Carol (Ghost of Christmas Past), Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel), and Joseph...Dreamcoat (Narrator). Mack Knapp (Ensemble)
Though Mack is a newcomer to the St. Bart's players, he is no stranger to the NYC Stage. Some of his favorite roles include Big Girl (a webseries on seeka.tv), Pillowman (Katurian), Twelfth Night (Sir Toby), Romeo and Juliet (Romeo), as well as being a regular company member of Writopia.org's Worldwide Plays Festival for the last twelve years. He is also a Consistent Supporting Artist with CO/LAB Theatre Group: a non-profit committed to giving neurodivergent actors a safe space to explore the theatrical arts. Love you Megan!
Steve Macarus (Ensemble)
Steve is pleased to be making his St. Bart's Players debut with this produciton. No stranger to the stage, Steve had a lengthy theater career in Chicago. Favorite shows include Come Blow Your Horn (Buddy), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Harding), The Miracle Worker (Jimmy) and The Good Doctor (The Writer). Recently Steve was seen in the world premiere of The Country Play at Theatre for a New City in NYC. Thanks to this wonderful cast and crew, Emily, Rachel, Andrew and family for your support and encouragement.
Cecelia Martin (Ensemble)
Cecelia is stepping into her first mainstage performance for the Players, and she couldn't be more excited for the opportunity. As a member of the company, she's worn a few hats – from backstage help to front-of-house duties. She is so thankful to her fellow company members for their unwavering encouragement to getting to this moment. To her friends and family, she thanks them for their support. And to Carly, whose love and encouragement made this possible.
Jim Mullins (Ensemble)
Jim has been a Player for 45 happy years. Favorite shows include 45 Seconds from B’way (Bernie) last spring, Our Town (“Stage Manager”), You Can't Take it With You (Grandpa), The Drowsy Chaperone (Man in Chair), 1776 (Ben Franklin), Man of La Mancha (Sancho), Fiorello (LaGuardia), The Man who Came to Dinner (Whiteside), City of Angels (Buddy), 110 in the Shade, Kiss Me Kate, State Fair, Cabaret, and A Man for All Seasons. Love to my beautiful granddaughter Eleanor!
Michelle Papp (Ensemble)
Michelle (she/her) is thrilled to return to the stage in her St. Bart's debut! Favorite roles from a former life include Gwendolyn Fairfax in The Importance of Being Earnest (HCRHS), Charlotte in Oliver! (SVP), and Beth March in Little Women (HCRHS). Love and a million thanks always to Mom, Jake, Goose, and the greatest friends a girl could ask for.
Sami Sallaway (Ensemble)
Sami (she/her) excitedly returns to St. Bart's mainstage after appearing in "The Mystery of Edwin Drood," as well as two annual holiday cabarets. She was recently a soloist in New York City Opera's "From Vienna to Broadway!" in Bryant Park last summer. She has previously been seen in other productions with New York City Opera, including the world premiere of “The Garden of the Finzi Contini” and a “Concert for Sugihara” at Carnegie Hall, as well as Village Light Opera's "Night at the Tonys!" Other work includes leading roles in “Seussical: The Musical,” “The Robber Bridegroom,” and “RENT.” Dream role: anything in the Law & Order franchise (duh).
Linda Vega (Ensemble)
Linda Vega recently appeared as the alternate Miss Marple in the Brooklyn Heights Players production of A Murder is Announced and as Carmen in S.O.F.T. Care at the Chain Theatre’s New Play Festival. Last spring, she played Zelda in 45 Seconds From Broadway with the St. Bart’s Players. She has also appeared as Frieda Fishbein (Act One), Carlotta Vance (Dinner At Eight), and Ethel Chauvenet (Harvey) in Brooklyn Heights and at the Gallery Players in The Tree, Women Underground, and The Piece. Other favorite roles include Harriet Stanley in (The Man who Came To Dinner)at St Jeans Players and Costanza (Enchanted April) at FAPC.
Andrew Wolverton (Ensemble)
Andrew is returning to St. Barts after performing in their production of Pippin (Player) last fall. He is grateful to be working with Emily again. Before moving to NYC, Andrew was a high school theatre director in Indiana for five years. Favorite Productions include: Gabe (Next to Normal), Chip Tolentino (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and Frankenfurter in (Rocky Horror Show).
