About Storytelling For Performers Workshop

Storytelling for Performers

In this hands-on workshop for performers of all levels who want to learn personal narrative storytelling, students will learn the basics of narrative structure, how to craft a unique point-of-view, and find the heart of their story.

Participants will be walked through the basics of narrative structure, participate in brainstorming activities, and actively write and revise a new story idea. They will be expected to participate in extemporaneous speaking exercises and read their own writing. The goal is for each participant to have a first draft of a new story ready for performance.

Interested in putting together your own Fringe show? This workshop is a great place to start!
