Gavin Matthias (Phileas Fogg)
Gavin Matthias (Phileas Fogg) is eager to return to the Spotlight stage! He has been part of Spotlight for eight years originally as an actor. Recently, Gavin has been hard at work as one of Spotlight’s music directors for their Youth and Repertory productions. He has just wrapped up his studies at Fordham University for music and history. He can’t wait to get back into the acting shoes and thanks Jacques for this opportunity.
Haley Vogel (Passapartout)
Haley Vogel- Actor, Singer, Dancer, Musician. A southern gal from Charlotte, North Carolina, living her big city dreams! She just recently graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre from Wagner College and is currently based in New York City! She has performed at reputable venues including 54 Below, the Lincoln Center, and The Tank NYC. She is a staff member at Spotlight, instructing both private lessons and group courses! Monica Ugarte (Princess Aouda)
Monica ugarte is recent graduate from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor’s degree in Theater. She has performed in various productions some including: Chicago (Roxie Hart), Les Misérables (Fantine), Into The Woods (The Witch), Water by the Spoonful (Yasmine), and El Huracán (Alicia/Dr.Kempler/Val). She has also recently Stage Managed other local productions such as SpongeBob: The Musical, The Wizard of Oz, Eurydice, and a One Act Festival at Brooklyn College. She was also recently in the Spotlight Repertory production of Around The World of 80 Days as Princess Auoda.
Ava Mary Aloia (Ali)
Ava Mary Aloia is entering her Junior year at Connecticut College, where she’s studying Theatre and Art. Some of her previous roles include: Emily Webb in Our Town by Thornton Wilder, Irina in Three Sisters by Anton Chekhov, The Moorhen in The Moors by Jen Silverman, and Anne Shirley Cuthbert in Anne with an E by Jacques Stewart. She’s thrilled to be back with her Spotlight Theatre friends this summer!
Luke Cimorelli (Sir Francis)
Luke Cimorelli (He/him) is a performer, director, and educator, and he is super excited to be in his first production with Spotlight Repertory Theatre! Luke recently graduated with a B.F.A. from Molloy University/CAP21. Recent credits include: Sweet Charity (Ensemble) Carrie (Tommy), As You Like It (Ensemble, Andy u/s), and A Dream is a Wish Princess Concert (Kristoff). Andrew McNamara (Detective Fix)
ANDREW MCNAMARA he/him (Ambrose Kemper) is thrilled to be a part of Around the World in 80 Days! He is a recent graduate of Molloy University/CAP21 Conservatory’s BFA musical theatre program. Recent credits include Head Over Heels (Musidorus), The Light in the Piazza (Fabrizio), and Anna K. Jacobs and Rob Rokicki’s The Real Gemma Jordan. Matthew Homme (Stuart )
Matthew Homme is currently in his third year at The College of Staten Island. Some of his favorite shows he has done with spotlight are Hello Dolly, Bat Boy, Robyn Hood. Some of his favorite shows to light were Oliver, Nutcracker, Wizard Of Oz. He would like to thank his Family And Friends for their continued support.
Meggan Audrey (Gauthier)
Meggan Audrey is so excited to be back with her Spotlight family! Meggan has become a choreographer/director at Spotlight for the past few years working on Chicago, Mean Girls, Hello Dolly, The Lion King, Jr, and Jungle Book to name a few. She was also most recently seen in Spotlight Repertory Theatre’s production of Sing a Song of Sondheim! Favorite Performance Credits: Newsies (Spotlight Repertory), Footloose (Surflight), The Producers (Woodstock Playhouse), Chicago (Forestburgh Playhouse), Smokey Joe’s Cafe (Weathervane Theatre). Meggan has also performed as a backup vocalist for Liz Callaway in Lincoln Center and Deke Sharon in Carnegie Hall. Graduate of Pace University, BFA. Carl Gordon (Announcer/Ensemble Cast)
Carl Gordon is very excited to return to the Spotlight stage! Previously featured in Hello Dolly, BatBoy, and Anne with an E, he is thrilled to be surrounded around such a talented cast and crew.
