Anne with an E - A New Musical Adventure Cast

Ava Mary Aloia is thrilled and honored to be a part of the Anne of Green Gables cast and back with her Spotlight family! She's currently a member of the class of 2026 at Connecticut College, studying Theater and English. Some recent roles include: Molly Aster from Peter and the Starcatcher, Emily Webb from Our Town, and a Moorhen in Jen Silverman's The Moors.

Sophie Decker is so excited to return to the Spotlight Repertory stage. She has been part of the Spotlight family for eight years and has appeared in many roles such as Fantine in Les Miserables, Velma Kelly in Chicago, and as a featured singer in Spotlight Repertory’s annual Fierce Females concert. She will be making her Birdland Jazz Club soloist debut June 2023. She is currently a junior at Marymount Manhattan College and is looking forward to earning a BFA degree in Creative Writing.

Carl Gordon is very excited to be part of another Spotlight production. Previously, he was part of Spotlight's Summer Intensive of Hair last summer. He is currently in rehearsals for Spotlight's upcoming production of Bat Boy, The Musical! Carl is attending the College of Staten Island, studying Drama. Carl would like to thank the entire Spotlight crew and the cast of this amazing show for all of their work. He would also like to thank his friends and family for continuing to support him along his theater journey.

Lexi is so excited to be returning to Spotlight Repertory Theatre this summer for another show! She has been seen in their productions of Mamma Mia!, Matilda, Newsies, Robyn Hood, and her most favorite, School of Rock, where she played Summer. Other favorite credits include: Little Women (Beth), Miracle on 34th Street (Susan), Mary Poppins (Michael Banks), and 13 The Musical (Lydia). She is currently studying screenwriting and creative writing at Pace University. You can catch a glimpse of her on the new season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as a 1960s teen. Lexi absolutely loves working with the Spotlight family, and is so honored to be performing with such a talented cast. Much love to Mary, Jacques, and all involved!

Kevin Torello is an actor from New York City. He goes to school in Rochester for musical theater at Nazareth College. His credits include Billy Flynn in Chicago, Javert in Les Miserables and Sheriff Reynolds in Bat Boy. He is so excited to play Mr.Phillips and hopes you enjoy the show!

Haley is a Junior Theatre Performance major at Wagner College embarking on a grand journey in her debut show with Spotlight Theatre! Oh, the joy that swells within her heart as she is embraced by this tight-knit theatrical family! With glee, she joins forces with a troupe of extraordinary actors and crew to bring forth a dazzling production. Previous credits include Mileva “Rebel Genius” (Wagner College), Christa “Scab” (Wagner SRMT), Belle “Beauty and the Beast” (Mooresville Community Children’s Theatre). Nicole Cavalieri is a rising sophomore at Bryn Mawr College. She is so excited to be returning to Spotlight and helping to bring Avonlea to life!
