John Watson Stewart is an award winning international director, choreographer, writer and performer. He is the Artistic Director for both the Weathervane Theatre (NH), and ArtBridge (Central America); he is founder of WINDSOCK Theatre camp for children aged 6-16. He has performed all over this hemisphere from Off Broadway to Regional and stock. John & Mary are the co-directors of The Amazing Kids' Choir & Spotlight Children's Theatre.

Mary Aloia is the Producing Director of Spotlight Theatre Company, and a professional singer and actress. Before Spotlight, Mary could be seen in commercials, soaps & in theaters across the country. She has toured the United States with Theaterworks USA, a children's theater company, and is the founder of Kidzrobics, a Manhattan-based children's dance & exercise program. Mary has studied vocal performance and theater for over 30 years. She is the proud mom of Alexandra - 24 years old, Christopher - 23 years old, and Ava - 17 years old. Mary is also the center direct for Staten Island Family Music - Music Together. Bring familes together through music for over 20 years!

Steven Rosenberg has once again been kidnapped by….I mean, umm… is THRILLED to be back music directing for Spotlight Theater! Steven is a graduate of Hunter College’s music program. When Steven is not in teacher mode, you can find him running around filling in guitar/bass/keys/vocals for several bands, running recording sessions, music directing, or hibernating so he could do it all again the following day. Steven can not be any prouder of this rockin’ cast, is super thankful that he gets to work with such an awesome creative team, and is beyond thrilled to have been able to work on a show with his parents and little sister! Here’s to sticking it to the man!!!!

Meggan Herod is so thankful to call Spotlight her chose family! Meggan is a professional dancer who fell in love with choreographing early in her career. Favorite choreography/AD credits: Chicago (Spotlight), Shrek (Spotlight), The Music Man, A Tribute Cabaret (Forestburgh Playhouse). Meggan was also the resident intern director at the Weathervane Theatre in New Hampshire 2014-2015. Love to Mom, Dad, James and Brad. And of course to my Spotlight family!!

Adrienne is an artist and visual arts educator when she isn’t designing and painting sets for Spotlight. She has an MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media and spends most of her time working with teenagers in a NYC public school as the Coordinator for the Academy of Art & Design. What matters most to Adrienne is that all people have access to healing through the arts. She lives a life she is madly in love with and wants the same for you. Adrienne is proud to be sharing her School of Rock experience with her daughter, Darienne.

Brian McCormack works in the financial services industry and moonlights as a chef. This is his second show with Spotlight. He loves music and the inner workings of the universe. (Did you see the latest pictures from the James Webb space telescope??) When not building sets until 1am, he spends his time reading about ancient history and rewatching Stargate and Star Trek into the wee hours of the morning.

Ally is a 2021 graduate from SUNY Cobleskill with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a Minor in Marketing. Ally has been an actor with Spotlight in the past but has taken on the role of the stage manager in recent years. Ally has managed show such as Newsies, Chicago, Shrek, and School of Rock with Spotlight.
